1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your KERUI G30 Wireless Home Alarm System. This intelligent dual-network system utilizes both Wi-Fi and cellular (GSM/4G) connectivity to ensure comprehensive security for your home or office. It supports a wide range of wireless sensors and can be controlled via the main panel, remote tags, or a dedicated mobile application.
2. Do This First
2.1 Things to be Noted Before Getting Started
- This guide is for Hub cellular models (2G/4G) and Hub cellular + Wi-Fi models (2G+Wi-Fi/4G+Wi-Fi).
- For Hub cellular + Wi-Fi models:
- You must select a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The hub does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Your Wi-Fi password must not contain spaces or special characters.
- Place your hub as close as possible to your router during setup.
- A slow network speed can affect performance. An upload speed of at least 2Mbps is recommended.
- Ensure the AP isolation setting in your router is disabled.
- For 4G SIM card users: Ensure the 2G network of your wireless service provider is available. If not, purchase the hub with 4G cellular communicator.
2.2 What You Need
To set up and use your Alarm System, you will need:
- An iPhone or Android phone.
- The Smart Security System app.
- An unused indoor power outlet.
- A regular SIM card supporting 2G/GSM (for 2G version) or 4G network (for 4G version).
- A Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz) network connection (for Hub cellular + Wi-Fi models only).

- Uses an unswitched wall outlet to prevent accidental power-off. The included bracket helps keep the hub plugged in.
4.2 Door/Window Sensor Placement
The magnet should be aligned with the middle of the sensor and placed within 0.6 inches (1.5cm) of the sensor when the door or window is closed.
4.3 PIR Motion Detector Installation
Mount the detector 79 to 87 inches (2 to 2.2m) above the floor. Use the included bracket and screws. Ensure the detection range is correctly oriented. Test the operation in testing mode.
Special Considerations:
- Do not install outdoors, in a garage, or on glass.
- Cannot detect motion through glass.
- Avoid places where it could get wet (e.g., near swing-out windows).
- Keep at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from heat sources (electric heaters, vents, fireplaces) or sources of turbulent air.
- Do not install behind large appliances or furniture that may obstruct its motion sensors.
4.4 Getting Started
4.4.1 Install the SIM Card
A regular SIM card is required for cellular services. Ensure the SIM card is inserted when the hub is off and its security code is permanently deactivated.

SIM Card Slot on Alarm Panel
4.4.2 Cellular Network Connection
If the cellular icon on the home screen turns white, your hub is connected to a cellular network. If it remains gray, the hub is not connected.
4.4.3 How to Set Phone Numbers for SMS and Phone Calls by Panel
Up to 5 stored phone numbers will receive SMS and calls during alarms. The hub will call these numbers successively (up to 2 rounds). If a call is answered and a Keypad Command is operated, it stops calling. Two-way talk is automatically connected when the hub calls.
Keypad Commands during a call:
- 1: Arm
- 2: Disarm or silence alarm
- 3 or 4: Two-way talk
To set numbers: Go to Menu > Call-Phone Number. Use arrow keys to select index, enter number (up to 18 digits), and tap √ to save. You can also enable/disable alarm calls for each number.
4.4.4 Exit/Entry Delay
These delays allow you to arm/disarm the system without triggering an immediate alarm. Default Exit Delay is 40 seconds, Entry Delay is 30 seconds.
To change: Go to Menu > Settings > Delay > Exit Delay / Entry Delay and edit the value (0-65535 seconds).
4.4.5 How to Record a Voice Message by Panel
You can record a brief voice message (up to 20 seconds) that will be played back when an alarm call is connected.
To record: Go to Menu > Record, select Record, speak into the panel, and press √ to save.
4.4.6 Pairing Sensors and Remotes
All sensors are wirelessly connected to the hub. The system can connect with up to 100 wireless sensors, 10 remote tags, and 10 RFID tags.
To Pair a Remote Tag: Go to Menu > Parts > Remote > Add. Enter a digit (0-9) for the tag, then press any button on the remote tag to send a signal. The hub will show "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
To Pair a Wireless Sensor (Door/Window or PIR Motion Detector): Go to Menu > Parts > Detector > Add. Select the desired Zone Name and Zone Mode (Normal, 24 Hours, Delay, Home, 24 Hours Silent, Close). Trigger the wireless sensor to send a transmission signal. The hub will show "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.
To Pair an RFID Tag: Go to Menu > Parts > RFID > Add. Enter a digit (0-9) for the tag, then tap the RFID Tag on the RFID read zone of your panel. The hub will show "Learning OK" upon successful pairing.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Backup
The Smart Hub includes a backup battery that lasts over 6 hours during a power outage. The battery icon in the upper-right corner shows the charge level. If red, the battery is low. Low battery notifications will be sent to registered phone numbers. Full charge takes 8-12 hours.
6.2 Wireless Sensor Battery Low Voltage Prompt
The system supports prompts for low battery voltage in wireless sensors. Replace batteries promptly when indicated.
6.3 Loss/Restoration of AC Power
The hub will send an alert notification if AC power is lost or restored.
6.4 Tamper Detection
If someone tampers with the Smart Hub or removes it from its back plate, an alert notification will be sent.
7. Troubleshooting
- Hub not connecting to cellular network: Ensure SIM card is properly installed (when hub is off) and its security code is deactivated.
- Wi-Fi connection issues: Verify you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Check that your Wi-Fi password does not contain spaces or special characters. Try placing the hub closer to the router. Ensure AP isolation is disabled on your router.
- False alarms: Adjust Exit/Entry Delay times (Menu > Settings > Delay). Ensure PIR motion detectors are installed correctly, away from heat sources or turbulent air.
- User password protection: If an incorrect password is entered 5 times, the keyboard will reject input for 90 seconds. Wait for the lockout period to expire.
- Door/Window not closed reminder: The system will remind you if a door or window is not closed, preventing arming and buzzing. Close all open points.
