2. Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:
- Read all instructions carefully before using the appliance.
- Do not immerse the motor base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

5. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash both the Food Blender Cup, Health Pot Cup, and any accessories (like the filter) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
- Placement: Place the main motor base on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
- Power Connection: Ensure the appliance is unplugged. If your region requires an adapter, attach the appropriate plug adapter to the power cord. Plug the power cord into the appliance, then into a suitable wall outlet.
- Cup Selection: Choose the desired cup (Food Blender or Health Pot) and place it securely onto the main motor base. The appliance features smart recognition and will display functions relevant to the attached cup.

6. Operation
The DAEWOO DY-SM02 offers 20 functions, intelligently displayed based on the cup in use.
6.1 General Operation
- Smart Cup Recognition: The appliance automatically detects whether the Food Blender Cup or Health Pot Cup is attached and displays the corresponding functions on the OLED screen.
- OLED Display & Knob Control: Use the control knob to scroll through the available functions on the OLED display. Press the knob to select a function or confirm a setting.

6.2 Using the Food Blender Cup
Functions include: Soybean milk, Grain milk, Complementary food, Nutrition soup, Porridge, Corn juice, Juice, Milk shake, Reservation, Cleaning.
- Place the Food Blender Cup onto the motor base.
- Add your desired ingredients. Ensure ingredients do not exceed the maximum fill line (600ml).
- Securely close the lid.
- Use the control knob to select your desired function (e.g., "Soybean milk").
- Press the knob to start the program. The OLED display will show the real-time status.
- Once the program is complete, carefully remove the cup and pour.
6.3 Using the Health Pot Cup
Functions include: Boil water, Boil tea, Milk tea, Scented tea, Brew milk, Health soup, Cordyceps, Ginseng tea, Ganoderma, Keep warm.
- Place the Health Pot Cup onto the motor base.
- Add water, tea leaves, herbs, or other ingredients into the cup. Use the integrated filter for brewing teas or infusions. Ensure ingredients do not exceed the maximum fill line (600ml).
- Securely close the lid.
- Use the control knob to select your desired function (e.g., "Boil tea").
- Press the knob to start the program. The OLED display will show the real-time status.
- Once the program is complete, carefully remove the cup and pour.
6.4 Pre-setting / Reservation Function
Both cups support a reservation function, allowing you to prepare ingredients in advance and set a delayed start time. Consult the OLED display for specific reservation settings for each function.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your appliance.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet and has cooled down.
- Cleaning Function (Food Blender Cup): For quick cleaning of the Food Blender Cup, add a small amount of water and a drop of mild detergent, then select the 'Cleaning' function on the OLED display.
- Manual Cleaning: Wash both the Food Blender Cup and Health Pot Cup (including the filter) with warm, soapy water. Use a soft brush for hard-to-reach areas around the blades. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storage.
- Motor Base: Wipe the exterior of the motor base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Store the appliance in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.
