5. Setup Guide

  1. Unpack the Monitor: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Power the Camera Unit:
    • Connect one of the provided power adapters to the camera unit.
    • Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The camera unit requires continuous power to operate.
  3. Charge/Power the Parent Unit:
    • Connect the second power adapter to the parent unit.
    • Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The parent unit has a built-in rechargeable battery and can operate on battery power or while plugged in.
    • For first-time use, it is recommended to fully charge the parent unit battery.
  4. Position the Camera Unit:
    • Place the camera unit at a safe distance from your baby, ideally at least 1.5 meters away from the crib or play area.
    • Ensure the camera has a clear, unobstructed view of your baby.
    • Adjust the camera angle manually to achieve the desired viewing area.

  5. Power On:
    • Once both units are powered, press and hold the power button on the parent unit to turn it on.
    • The parent unit should automatically connect to the camera unit. If not, refer to the "Pairing" section in the full user manual (if available) or troubleshooting.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Monitoring

  • Once powered on and connected, the parent unit will display live video from the camera.
  • The screen will show the current room temperature and other status indicators.

6.2 Two-Way Audio (Talk Back Function)

  • To speak to your baby, press and hold the microphone button on the parent unit.
  • Release the button to listen to your baby.

6.3 Lullaby Playback

  • Press the "Music" button (often labeled with a musical note icon) on the parent unit to cycle through the 8 built-in lullabies.
  • Press again to stop playback or select another song.

6.4 Temperature Alert

  • The parent unit continuously displays the room temperature detected by the camera.
  • An alarm will sound if the temperature exceeds 30°C or drops below 20°C.
