4. Setup Guide
4.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully unpack all components and check for any damage. Ensure all items listed in the package contents are present.
4.2 Powering the Device
- Connect the provided DC 5V/1A power adapter to the alarm host.
- Plug the adapter into a standard power outlet.
- The device will power on and the screen will illuminate.
4.3 Physical Installation
The alarm host can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall.
- **Desktop Placement**: Use the integrated stand to position the device on a flat surface.
- **Wall Installation**: Securely mount the device to a wall using appropriate hardware (not included). Ensure it is within WiFi range and accessible for operation.

4.4 App Connection (Tuya Smart Home)
- Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app from your mobile app store.
- Register or log in to your account.
- On the app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- Select "Alarm" from the device categories.
- On the alarm host, navigate to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" and select "AirlinK Configure" or similar option to put the device in pairing mode.
- Follow the on-screen prompts in the app to connect to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Confirm the indicator on the alarm host is blinking rapidly.
- The app will scan for and add the device. Once "Added successfully" appears, tap "Done".

4.5 Adding Sensors and Accessories
The system supports up to 100 wireless defense zones. Refer to the specific sensor's manual for pairing instructions. Generally, sensors are added through the alarm host's interface or the mobile app.
- **Door/Window Sensors**: Place on doors and windows to detect opening.
- **PIR Detectors**: Install in areas to detect motion.
- **Smoke/Gas/CO Detectors**: Install in appropriate locations for environmental hazard detection.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Arming and Disarming
- **Arm (Away Mode)**: Activates all sensors. Ideal when no one is home.
- **Stay Arm (Home Mode)**: Activates perimeter sensors (e.g., door/window sensors) while allowing movement inside.
- **Disarm**: Deactivates all sensors.
- **SOS**: Triggers an immediate emergency alarm.
These modes can be activated via the touchscreen panel, mobile app, or RFID card (if configured).
5.2 Using the Mobile App
The Tuya Smart or Smart Life app allows for remote control and monitoring of your security system.
- **Remote Arm/Disarm**: Change the system status from anywhere.
- **Notifications**: Receive real-time alerts for triggered alarms, low battery, etc.
- **Device Management**: Add, remove, or configure sensors and other connected devices.
- **Automation/Smart Scenes**: Create rules for devices to interact (e.g., camera records when motion is detected).
5.3 Integrating with Smart Camera (Example Automation)
You can set up smart scenes to link your security system with a compatible smart camera (e.g., Tuya camera).
- Ensure your smart camera is connected to the same Tuya app.
- In the app, go to "Smart" > "Create Scene".
- Under "Set a condition", select "When device status changes".
- Choose your "smart camera" and select "Alarm" > "motion detection".
- Under "Set up task", select "Run the device".
- Choose your "Alarm Host" and select "Device Mode" > "SOS".
- Save the automation. Now, if the camera detects motion, the alarm host will trigger an SOS alarm.

6. Maintenance
- **Cleaning**: Wipe the screen and device surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- **Battery Check**: Regularly check the battery status of wireless sensors via the app or device interface. Replace batteries as needed.
- **Firmware Updates**: Keep the device firmware and mobile app updated to ensure optimal performance and security.
- **Signal Strength**: Periodically check the WiFi and 4G signal strength to ensure reliable communication.
