This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and security.

4. Setup

Before first use, please fully charge the padlock for at least 3 hours. It is recommended to charge for more than 12 hours for the very first charge to ensure optimal battery life.

4.1 Fingerprint Registration (Administrator)

The first two fingerprints registered will automatically be designated as administrator fingerprints. These are crucial for adding subsequent users and resetting the device. When registering, try to enter your fingerprints from a 360-degree angle to improve recognition accuracy.

1. Press and hold your finger on the fingerprint sensor for 5 seconds until the blue light turns on.
2. Lift your finger when the blue light is on.
3. Place your finger on the sensor again. The green light will flash, indicating it's ready to record.
4. Record the fingerprint 10 times with the same finger. The blue and green lights will flash during this process.
5. After 10 successful scans, a loud "DI" sound will be heard, and the green light will flash continuously for about 1 second, confirming the administrator's fingerprint is recorded.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 for the second administrator fingerprint.

4.2 Fingerprint Registration (Ordinary User)

After the two administrator fingerprints are set, you can add up to 8 ordinary user fingerprints. An administrator fingerprint is required to initiate the process.

1. Unlock the padlock.
2. Touch the fingerprint sensor with an already registered administrator finger and hold for 10 seconds until the blue light turns on.
3. Lift the administrator finger.
4. Place the new user's finger on the sensor. The green light will flash, indicating it's ready to record.
5. Record the fingerprint 10 times with the new user's finger. The blue and green lights will flash during this process.
6. After 10 successful scans, a loud "DI" sound will be heard, and the green light will flash continuously for about 1 second, confirming the ordinary user's fingerprint is recorded.

4.3 Restore Factory Settings (Delete All Fingerprints)

This action will delete all registered fingerprints, including administrator fingerprints, and restore the padlock to its initial factory state where any fingerprint can unlock it. This process must be initiated by an administrator fingerprint.

1. Unlock the padlock.
2. Press and hold a registered administrator finger on the sensor for 20 seconds.
3. Release your finger when the red light turns on.
4. Immediately press the same registered administrator finger on the sensor again. The light will change to green, and all fingerprints will be removed.
5. A loud "DI" sound will be heard, and the green light will flash continuously for about 1 second, confirming all fingerprints are deleted.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Unlocking the Padlock

To unlock the padlock, simply place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The padlock will unlock within 0.5 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.

5.2 Locking the Padlock

To lock the padlock, simply push the shackle down until it clicks into place. No fingerprint is needed to lock it.

5.3 Low Battery Reminder

When the padlock's voltage drops to 3.5V or lower, the red indicator light will flash for 15 seconds after unlocking. If the battery remains at a low point, it will alarm once every hour. This indicates that the padlock needs to be charged soon.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Charging the Padlock

The padlock is equipped with a built-in 3.7V lithium battery and charges via a Type-C USB cable. Connect the Type-C cable to the charging port on the padlock and a suitable USB power source. The red light will be on during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge can provide up to 12 months of standby time.

6.2 Cleaning

To ensure consistent fingerprint recognition, keep the fingerprint sensor and your fingers clean and dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials on the sensor.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Fingerprint Not Recognized / Cannot Unlock

• No Fingerprints Registered: If no fingerprints have been recorded, any finger can unlock the padlock. Once fingerprints are recorded, only registered fingerprints will work. Ensure you have successfully registered your fingerprints.
• Dirty/Wet Finger or Sensor: Fingerprint identification may fail if your finger or the sensor is dirty, wet, or has smudges. Ensure both are clean and dry.
• Finger Condition: Finger wear, peeling, or scratches can affect recognition. It is recommended to register at least 3 different fingerprints (or different angles of the same finger) to account for such issues.
• Incorrect Registration: If you are experiencing issues immediately after initial setup, it's possible the fingerprints were not recorded correctly. Consider performing a factory reset and re-registering your administrator fingerprints carefully, ensuring you scan from various angles.

7.2 Padlock is Unresponsive / Battery Dead

• If the padlock is completely unresponsive, the battery might be fully depleted. Connect the padlock to a Type-C charger. The padlock can be unlocked normally even while it is charging.

8. User Tips

• Initial Charge: For the first use, charge the padlock for at least 3 hours, or preferably over 12 hours, to maximize battery performance.
• Multiple Fingerprints: Register at least two administrator fingerprints and additional ordinary user fingerprints from various angles to improve recognition reliability and provide backup access.
• Cleanliness: Regularly wipe the fingerprint sensor with a soft, dry cloth to prevent dust or smudges from affecting performance.
• Charging Reminder: Pay attention to the red light low battery reminder and charge the padlock promptly to avoid unexpected power loss.
