Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and monitor screen. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the parent unit's battery frequently. Charge it regularly. If storing for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the monitor and camera in a dry, dust-free environment, away from extreme temperatures.
  • Signal Strength: Ensure the camera and monitor are within the effective range (up to 1000ft/300m in open space) and avoid placing them near large metal objects or other electronic devices that may cause interference.

User Tips

  • Optimal Placement: For the best view and audio, place the camera unit approximately 1-1.5 meters (3-5 feet) away from the baby's crib.
  • Battery Conservation: Utilize the VOX mode to extend the parent unit's battery life, as the screen will only activate when sound is detected.
  • Secure Mounting: When wall or ceiling mounting the camera, ensure it is securely fastened and the cables are routed safely away from the crib to prevent entanglement.
  • Privacy: Since the monitor does not require Wi-Fi or an app, it offers enhanced privacy and security against external hacking.
  • Versatile Use: While designed for babies, the monitor's features like two-way audio, temperature monitoring, and night vision also make it suitable for monitoring elderly family members or pets.
