  • In case of emergency, immediately press the red EMERGENCY STOP button.

3.2 Machine Features and External Parts

The main unit features a portable handle, power switch, water chiller display, working system display, system switch, emergency switch, laser switch, and a laser gun connection. The back of the unit includes a fan and barometer.

Key internal components include the Auto Wire Feeder, RECI Laser Source, and S&A Water Chiller.

  • Auto Wire Feeder: Light, small, convenient, industrial-grade high-speed microprocessor, strong anti-interference ability, stable performance, easy operation, automatic memory storage, overload protection.
  • RECI Laser Source: High average power (up to 1500W for FC1500, up to 3000W for FC3000), good beam quality, customizable output fiber length, high electro-optic conversion efficiency, long service life (exceeds 100,000+ hours).
  • S&A Water Chiller: Double temperature controls, efficiency and environmental protection, temperature control accuracy ±1°C, high cooling rate, which can weld fine weld, structure and good joint performance.

4. Setup Instructions

Before operating the machine, ensure proper setup and connection of all components.

  1. Unpacking: Carefully unpack all components listed in Section 3.1. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Placement: Position the main unit on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure sufficient space around the machine for heat dissipation.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the machine to a 380V, 3-phase power supply. Ensure the power source meets the machine's requirements.
  4. Water Chiller: Ensure the S&A Water Chiller is properly filled with the recommended coolant and connected to the main unit according to the chiller's specific instructions.
  5. Fiber Cable: Connect the fiber cable from the main unit to the 4-in-1 Laser Welding Gun. Handle the fiber cable with care to avoid damage.
  6. Auto Wire Feeder: Connect the Auto Wire Feeder to the main unit and load the ER304 Steel Welding Wire.
  7. Grounding: Attach the Safe Ground Wire Clamp to a suitable ground point.
  8. Safety Gear: Always wear the provided OD7 Protective Mask, Protective Gloves, and OD7 Protective Glasses before powering on the machine.

5. Operating Instructions

This 4-in-1 machine offers welding, cutting, cleaning, and rust removal functionalities. The intelligent control panel and handheld gun provide intuitive operation.

5.1 Powering On and Initial Setup

  1. Ensure all safety precautions are in place (Section 2).
  2. Turn on the main power switch on the machine.
  3. The LED smart display will power on.
  4. Use the touch screen to select your preferred language from the 25 available options.
  5. The main interface (HIM) will display various settings for laser power, pulse, frequency, scan frequency, weld width, and wire feed speed.

5.2 Selecting Functions and Parameters

5.3 Handheld Gun Operation

The LHD Smart Screen Handheld Gun is lightweight, flexible, highly efficient, and effective. It features a built-in screen for real-time parameter display and adjustment.

  • Dot / Continuous Switching: Easily switch between dot and continuous laser modes.
  • Setting Scanner Parameters: Adjust scanning parameters directly from the gun.
  • Setting the Scanning Width: Control the width of the laser scan.
  • Setting the Wire Feed Speed: Adjust the speed of the auto wire feeder.
  • Language Switching: Change the display language on the gun's screen.
  • Setting the Fixing Time: Configure the laser's fixing time.
  • Nozzles: Various welding and wire nozzles are provided for different applications. Adjust the size needed for the head to find the best fit for work.

6. Maintenance

6.2 Laser Gun and Nozzle Cleaning

Use the provided HW980 GUN Cleaning Kit to regularly clean the laser welding gun and nozzles. This prevents buildup and ensures consistent laser beam quality and wire feeding.

6.3 Protective Lens Replacement

The package includes 5 Pcs Protective Lenses. Regularly inspect the protective lens in the handheld gun for any damage or contamination and replace as needed to maintain optimal laser performance and safety.
