1. Product Overview

The XDOBO X7 is a high-power 50W portable wireless Bluetooth speaker designed for robust audio performance in various environments. Featuring Bluetooth 5.0, IPX5 waterproofing, and multiple playback modes, it delivers rich stereo sound with enhanced bass. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your speaker.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the speaker's Type-C port and the other end to a 5V/2A power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

The speaker can also be used to charge other devices (e.g., mobile phones) in an emergency, providing up to 12 hours of usage time for the speaker itself.

3.2 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the power button (Power button icon) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns on.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the power button again for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns off.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (the Bluetooth indicator light will flash).
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "XDOBO X7" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.

The XDOBO X7 uses Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable and efficient wireless connection.

3.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve a wider stereo sound experience, you can pair two XDOBO X7 speakers together:

  1. Ensure both XDOBO X7 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), double-click the power button or a dedicated TWS button (if available, refer to button layout).
  3. The speakers will automatically search and pair with each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator lights will reflect the TWS status.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 3.3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Button Functions

The top panel of the XDOBO X7 speaker features several control buttons:

  • Power button icon (Power Button): Press and hold to power on/off.
  • Mode button icon (M - Mode Button): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, TF Card, and AUX input modes.
  • Play/Pause button icon (Play/Pause Button): Short press to play or pause music. During a call, short press to answer/end a call. Press and hold to reject a call.
  • Volume Down / Previous Track button icon (- Button): Short press to decrease volume. Press and hold to go to the previous track.
  • Volume Up / Next Track button icon (+ Button): Short press to increase volume. Press and hold to go to the next track.
  • Voice Assistant button icon (Voice Assistant Button): Short press to activate your device's voice assistant.

4.2 Playback Modes

The XDOBO X7 supports three primary playback modes:

  • Bluetooth Mode: Connect wirelessly to your Bluetooth-enabled device (refer to section 3.3).
  • TF Card Mode: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card (up to 64GB) loaded with supported music formats (mp3, ape, FLAC, wav) into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playback.
  • AUX Input Mode: Connect an external audio device using the provided 3.5mm AUX line-in cable. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

4.3 Sound Modes

The speaker offers three distinct sound modes to enhance your listening experience:

  • Default Mode: Standard balanced audio.
  • Vocal Mode: Emphasizes vocal clarity, ideal for podcasts or acoustic music.
  • Bass Mode: Boosts low frequencies for a deeper, more powerful bass experience.

To switch between sound modes, refer to the speaker's controls or your connected device's audio settings if applicable.

4.4 Voice Assistant

The XDOBO X7 supports voice assistant functionality. Short press the dedicated voice assistant button (Voice Assistant button icon) to activate the voice assistant on your connected wireless device and interact through the speaker's microphone.

4.5 Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the XDOBO X7 can be used for hands-free calling. Use the Play/Pause button to answer, end, or reject calls.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Waterproofing (IPX5)

The XDOBO X7 speaker is rated IPX5 waterproof, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for outdoor use, including near beaches, showers, and pools. However, it is not designed for submersion in water.

  • Always ensure the rubber flap covering the charging and input ports is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
  • Do not submerge the speaker in water.
  • If the speaker gets wet, wipe it dry with a clean cloth before charging or opening the port cover.

5.2 Cleaning

  • Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.

5.3 Battery Care

  • Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
  • Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) as this can degrade battery performance.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
