4. Setup and Assembly

4.1. Installing Protective Frames

  1. Insert the four protective frames into the aircraft as shown in the diagram.

4.2. Installing Propellers

  1. The propeller blades are not identical; each blade is marked with an "A" or "B".
  2. When installing the blades, ensure they are correctly matched to the corresponding motor arms as indicated by the letters.
  3. Incorrect installation of propeller blades will prevent the aircraft from taking off, causing it to flip over and crash.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1. Basic Flight Controls

Video demonstrating the M7 Drone's flight capabilities, including one-click takeoff, three-speed adjustment, screen display transmission, electrically adjustable camera, one-click photo/video recording, optical flow hovers, modular battery, stunt roll, trajectory flight, and one-click landing.
  • Takeoff: Place the drone on a flat surface. Press the One-Touch Start button. The drone will automatically ascend and hover.
  • Landing: Press the One-Touch Landing button. The drone will automatically descend and land.
  • Altitude Control: Use the left throttle stick to control the drone's ascent and descent.
  • Directional Control: Use the right steering stick to move the drone forward, backward, left, or right.
  • Rotation: Use the left steering stick to rotate the drone left or right.
  • Side Flight: Use the right steering stick for lateral flight (strafe left/right).

7.2. Fine-Tuning

If the drone drifts during flight, use the fine-tuning buttons on the remote control to correct its position. For example, if the fuselage is shifted backward, press and hold the fine-tuning button and then move the stick forward.

7.3. Speed Adjustment

The M7 Drone offers three speed modes: low, medium, and high. By default, it starts in low speed mode. Rotate the speed switch right to increase speed and left to decrease speed.7.4. Headless Mode

Headless mode simplifies flight by allowing the drone to move relative to the pilot's orientation, regardless of the drone's front direction. This is particularly useful for beginners or when the drone is far away.

  • Activation: Press and hold the (360°) button for approximately 3 seconds. The body lights will flash, and the remote control will emit a sound sequence (DDT~DDDT~DDDT).
  • Deactivation: Press and hold the (360°) button again for 3 seconds. The remote control will beep, indicating headless mode is exited.

7.5. Camera Operation

The drone is equipped with an 8K Aerial HD Dual Camera with an electrically adjustable 90-degree angle. It supports real-time image transmission via 5G WiFi.

  • Photo/Video Recording: Use the dedicated photo/video buttons on the remote control for one-click recording.
  • Camera Angle Adjustment: Use the servo adjustment buttons on the remote control to change the camera's vertical angle.
  • Gesture Shooting: The drone supports gesture control for taking photos. Aim at the drone lens and make a gesture to take a photo.
  • Waypoint Flight: Draw a trajectory on the screen, and the drone will autonomously fly along the designated path, capturing footage.

8. Safety Guidelines and Restrictions

For recreational use only. Illegal modification of drones/planes is prohibited. Please also pay attention to the relevant laws and regulations on the use of drones/planes in your country/area to ensure legal use.

8.1. Flight Environment Restrictions

  • To ensure flight safety, avoid flying in areas such as airports, highways, train stations, subways, and densely populated urban areas.
  • Do not operate this aircraft in extreme weather conditions such as strong winds or storms.
  • Do not fly at night or beyond visual range.

8.2. Data Link Loss Behavior

The maximum height the M7 Drone can reach above its takeoff point is 50 meters. Exceeding this height may cause the drone to lose control and descend, and the operator may not be able to control the drone during descent, potentially leading to loss of the drone. This safety feature reminds users to pay attention to altitude restrictions during flight to avoid flight risks.

9. Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect propellers for damage and replace if necessary.
  • Keep the drone and remote control clean and free from dust and debris.
  • Store the drone and its components in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Ensure all connections are secure before each flight.

10. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Drone battery connected, indicator light flashes, no response to operations.Remote control and receiver not successfully paired.Re-pair the remote control and receiver according to the instructions.
Drone does not respond when battery is connected.1. Remote control/receiver not powered.
2. Remote control/receiver battery voltage low.
3. Poor electrode contact.
1. Turn on the transmitter and confirm the aircraft battery is in place.
2. Use a fully charged battery.
3. Reinstall the battery, ensuring good contact between battery and battery compartment.
Motor does not spin when throttle is pressed, receiver light flashes.Insufficient lithium-polymer battery for flight.Recharge the battery or replace it with a fully charged one.
Aircraft continuously rotates, unable to take off.1. Main rotor deformation.
2. Weak aircraft battery.
1. Replace main rotor blades.
2. Charge or replace the battery with a fully charged one.
Aircraft vibrates excessively.Main rotor deformation.Replace main rotor blades.
Adjusted orientation, but fuselage still rotates, left/right rotation speed uneven.1. Tail rotor deformation.
2. Poor tail motor.
1. Replace tail rotor blades.
2. Replace the motor.
Aircraft still deviates forward or backward.Gyroscope center point incorrect. After powering on, return the lift lever to the neutral position and power on again.
Aircraft cannot fly after a fall.1. Electrode detachment.
2. Loose gear.
1. Reconnect the electrode.
2. Tighten the gear.

11. User Tips

  • Battery Life Management: The drone offers approximately 15 minutes of flight time per battery. Consider purchasing additional batteries for extended flight sessions. Always ensure batteries are fully charged before use.
  • Pre-Flight Check: Before each flight, perform a quick visual inspection of the drone, especially the propellers and protective frames, to ensure they are securely attached and undamaged.
  • Calibration: Always calibrate the drone's gyroscope before takeoff, especially if you notice any instability during previous flights. The drone's lights will flash during calibration and remain solid once complete.
  • Smooth Control: When operating the drone, especially for beginners, use the control sticks slowly and gently. Sudden movements can lead to loss of control.
  • Wind Conditions: While the drone has some wind resistance, avoid flying in strong winds to maintain stability and prevent loss of control.

12. Warranty and Support

For warranty information, technical support, or service inquiries, please refer to the contact information provided by your retailer or the official Lenovo support channels. Keep your purchase receipt as proof of purchase.
