  • Keep children and pets away from the assembly area to prevent accidents.
  • Do not hang heavy objects from the frame.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation, especially during hot weather, to prevent overheating inside the greenhouse.

3. Package Contents

Please check that all parts are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. Refer to the included parts list (usually found in the packaging) to verify all components.

Key components include:

  • Galvanized Steel Frame components (tubes, connectors, reinforcement rods)
  • 140gsm Polyethylene (PE) Cover
  • Hinged Doors (x2)
  • Mesh Windows (x6)
  • Fasteners and hardware

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of this polytunnel greenhouse requires two to three people. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in your packaging. Below are general guidelines and important considerations:

4.1 Site Preparation

  • Choose a level, well-drained area for your greenhouse.
  • Clear the area of any debris, rocks, or sharp objects that could damage the cover.
  • Consider sun exposure and wind direction for optimal plant growth and greenhouse stability.

4.2 Frame Assembly

Construct the galvanized steel frame according to the diagrams in your specific assembly guide. The frame includes four top reinforcement rods for enhanced strength and stability. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Access and Ventilation

The greenhouse is equipped with two hinged doors, one at the front and one at the rear, for easy access and cross-ventilation. Each door is 80cm wide and 190cm high and includes latches to keep them securely shut when not in use.

5.2 Plant Cultivation

The greenhouse provides a protected environment suitable for growing a wide variety of plants year-round. Monitor temperature and humidity levels inside and adjust ventilation as needed using the doors and windows.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the PE cover with mild soap and water to ensure maximum light penetration. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes that could damage the material.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the galvanized steel frame for any signs of rust or damage. Inspect the cover for tears or holes and repair them promptly to maintain the greenhouse's protective qualities.
  • Anchoring: Re-check the soil around the extended edges periodically, especially after heavy rain or strong winds, to ensure the greenhouse remains securely anchored.
  • Winter Care: In areas with heavy snowfall, gently remove snow accumulation from the roof to prevent structural damage.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Greenhouse Instability

  • Issue: Greenhouse feels wobbly or unstable.
  • Solution: Ensure the 20cm extended edges of the cover are deeply buried in the soil. Check all frame connections to ensure they are tight. Consider adding additional anchoring if in a particularly windy area.

7.2 Poor Ventilation/Overheating

  • Issue: Temperature inside the greenhouse is too high, or air feels stagnant.
  • Solution: Open both hinged doors and all six mesh windows to maximize airflow. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the windows or doors.

7.3 Water Accumulation on Cover

  • Issue: Water is pooling on the greenhouse cover.
  • Solution: Ensure the cover is stretched tautly over the frame during installation. Check for any sagging areas and adjust the cover tension if possible.
