- Carefully align the battery with the charging contacts in the charger slot.
- Insert the battery into the charger, ensuring a secure fit and correct polarity.
4.2 Power Connection (Chargers)
- Micro USB Charger / LCD USB Charger: Connect the provided Micro USB cable to the charger's DC input port. Plug the other end into any 5V USB power source (e.g., USB wall charger, power bank, car charger USB port).
- AC Wall + DC Car Battery Charger Kit / LCD Quick Charger / LCD Dual Quick Charger:
- AC Wall Charging: Connect the AC power cord to the charger and then to a standard AC 100V-240V wall outlet.
- DC Car Charging: Connect the car charger cable to the charger and then to your vehicle's 12V DC power outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Charging Process
- After connecting the charger to a power source and inserting the battery, the charger will begin the charging process.
- LED Indicators (Micro USB Charger, AC Wall + DC Car Charger Kit): A red LED indicates that the battery is charging. The LED will turn green when the battery is fully charged.
- LCD Display (LCD USB Charger, LCD Quick Charger, LCD Dual Quick Charger): The LCD screen will display the charging status, battery power level (percentage), and current charging mode. The graphic will blink gradually during charging.
- LCD Dual Quick Charger Specifics: Charging defaults to low current mode. Briefly press the button to switch to high current mode if desired.
- Once the battery is fully charged (indicated by green LED or 100% on LCD), disconnect the charger from the power source and remove the battery.

5.2 Battery Use in Camcorder
Once charged, insert the battery pack into your compatible Panasonic or Hitachi camcorder according to the camcorder's instruction manual. The camcorder's screen should correctly display the remaining battery power.
6. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your battery packs and chargers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Charging Flexibility: Lithium-ion batteries have no memory effect, allowing you to charge them at any time without needing to fully discharge them first.
- Built-in Protection: Chargers feature constant current control to prevent over-voltage, over-charging, and short-circuiting. They also include pre-charging and 0V activation functions to effectively extend battery life.
- Storage: Store batteries and chargers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the battery and charger contacts if necessary. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
7. Troubleshooting
- Battery Not Charging:
- Ensure the charger is properly connected to a power source.
- Verify the battery is correctly inserted into the charger with proper polarity.
- Check if the power source (wall outlet, USB port, car outlet) is functional.
- Inspect the charging cable for any damage.
- Battery Not Recognized by Camcorder:
- Confirm that the battery model is compatible with your specific camcorder model. Refer to the compatibility list in Section 3.3.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Clean the battery and camcorder contacts with a dry cloth.
- Incorrect Purchase: If you purchased an incompatible battery or charger, it will be unusable. Always double-check the specific model of your camera or battery before purchasing.
8. User Tips
- Always verify battery and charger compatibility with your specific camcorder model before purchase to avoid usability issues.
- Utilize the various charging methods (USB, car, wall) for convenience during travel or at home, ensuring you always have a charged battery.
- Pay close attention to the LED or LCD indicators for charging status to ensure proper battery health and avoid over-discharging or over-charging.
