1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, setup, operation, and maintenance of your TMEZON 7 Inch Tuya App 1080P Wifi Smart Video DoorPhone Intercom System. This advanced system combines a high-definition doorbell camera with a touch-screen indoor monitor, offering seamless communication and enhanced security for your home or office. With remote access via the TuyaSmart app, you can manage your door entry from anywhere.
2. Product Overview
The TMEZON Video DoorPhone Intercom System is designed to provide convenient and secure access control. Key features include:
- 1080P HD Doorbell Camera with 125° wide-angle view.
- 7-inch TFT Touch Screen Indoor Monitor.
- Wi-Fi connectivity for remote access via TuyaSmart app (2.4GHz only).
- Two-way audio communication.
- Multiple unlocking methods: App, RFID card, Monitor touch screen, Password.
- Motion detection with automatic snapshot or video recording to Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included).
- IP65 weather-resistant outdoor unit.
- Infrared night vision.
- Support for up to 6 monitors, 2 doorbells, and 2 CCTV cameras.

3. Installation
The system uses a 4-wire connection between the outdoor doorbell and the indoor monitor. The maximum recommended distance for this connection is 100 meters. For distances exceeding 50 meters, a higher quality RG59 cable is recommended.
3.1 Package Contents
Before installation, ensure all components are present:

3.2 Mounting the Indoor Monitor
The indoor monitor is designed for surface wall mounting. Ensure the chosen location has access to a power outlet for the independent power supply.

3.3 Mounting the Outdoor Doorbell
The outdoor doorbell is IP65 weather-resistant and can be installed outdoors. It should be connected to the indoor monitor using the provided 4-wire cable.

4. Setup
This section guides you through connecting your system and setting up the mobile application.
4.1 App Installation and Device Addition (EZ Mode)
- Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your device's app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS).
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Make the monitor enter EZ Mode. The monitor will reboot.
- Press the "Add Device" button in the app to enter the Wi-Fi connection page. The app will automatically search for Wi-Fi networks.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to complete the connection.
- The app will automatically add the device. Click "Done" to complete.

4.2 App Installation and Device Addition (AP Mode)
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Make the monitor enter AP Mode.
- Connect your smartphone to the Wi-Fi router you want the IP indoor monitor to be connected to.
- Login to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, add devices.
- Select Wi-Fi mode, then click Next.
- Switch to your smartphone's settings to connect to the device's hotspot (starting with "SmartLife-"). The default password is "12345678".
- Return to the app and wait for the connection. The device will be added successfully.

4.3 RFID Card Unlocking Setup
The outdoor unit supports RFID card unlocking. Refer to the detailed instructions in the physical manual for programming RFID cards.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Two-Way Audio Communication
When a visitor presses the doorbell, the indoor monitor will ring, and you will receive a notification on your smartphone. You can then engage in two-way audio communication with the visitor.

5.2 Unlocking the Door
You have multiple options to unlock the door:
- Via App: Remotely unlock the door using the TuyaSmart app on your smartphone.
- Via RFID Card: Present a programmed RFID card to the outdoor doorbell unit.
- Via Monitor: Use the touch screen on the indoor monitor to unlock the door.
- Via Password: Enter a pre-set password on the outdoor doorbell unit (if supported and configured).

5.3 Motion Detection and Recording
The system features smart motion detection. When motion is detected, you will receive an app notification, and the system will automatically record a video or take a snapshot to the installed Micro SD card.

5.4 Working Modes
The system offers three working modes:
- At Home: When you are at home, both the outdoor bell and the indoor monitor will ring when a visitor calls.
- Leave Home: When you are leaving home, the record mode of the outdoor unit must be set to "video" to record visitors. An SD card is required.
- Dormant: This is a "do not disturb" mode. If the monitor is set to "Dormant", both the outdoor bell and the monitor will remain silent when a visitor calls.

5.5 Voice Message Support
If no one replies to a visitor's call after 60 seconds, the system will automatically enter message mode, allowing the visitor to leave a voice message.

5.6 Sharing Device with Family
You can share access to the device with up to 10 mobile phones. Go to "Household Management" in the TuyaSmart app to share the device. Shared accounts can receive notifications and unlock functions.

6. Maintenance
- Regularly clean the camera lens and monitor screen with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear visibility.
- Ensure the outdoor unit's waterproof cover is securely in place to maintain IP65 weather resistance.
- Check wiring connections periodically for any signs of wear or damage.
- Keep the system's software updated through the TuyaSmart app for optimal performance and security.
7. Troubleshooting
- Q: The door does not open, but other functions work.
- A: Ensure the electronic lock is correctly connected and powered. Check the wiring between the monitor and the lock. Verify that the unlock command is being sent successfully from the app or monitor.
- Q: How to increase the volume?
- A: The ringtones and volume can be adjusted via the indoor monitor settings. Refer to the monitor's menu for sound settings.
- Q: What is the maximum connection distance between the doorbell and monitor?
- A: The maximum distance is typically within 100 meters using a normal 4-core cable or CAT5/6 cable. For distances over 50 meters, a better quality RG59 cable is recommended.
- Q: Can the doorbell see the door at night?
- A: Yes, the system supports infrared night vision for clear visibility in low-light conditions.
- Q: The intercom is not connecting to Wi-Fi.
- A: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The monitor does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Check your Wi-Fi password and signal strength.

9. User Tips
- Wi-Fi Compatibility: Always ensure your home Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as the monitor does not support 5GHz. This is a common point of confusion during setup.
- Testing the System: When testing the doorbell and monitor, avoid placing them in the same physical space. This can cause acoustic feedback (loud noises or whistles) due to the microphone and speaker being too close.
- SD Card for Recording: Remember to purchase a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) separately if you wish to enable video recording and snapshot features.
- Security: Change the default password for the app and any other configurable security settings as soon as possible after initial setup to enhance your system's security.
