Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your OSCAL Pad 100, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Tablet does not turn on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on again. If it still doesn't turn on, try holding the power button for 10-15 seconds for a forced restart.
- Screen is unresponsive: Restart the tablet. If the issue persists, try a factory reset (note: this will erase all data).
- Apps crashing or freezing: Close the app and reopen it. If the problem continues, try clearing the app's cache or data in Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage. Consider using the "App Force Stop" feature.
- Wi-Fi connection issues: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled and you are within range of a known network. Try forgetting the network and reconnecting. Restart your router if other devices are also affected.
- Slow performance: Close unnecessary background apps. Clear cache regularly. Consider using App Archiving for rarely used applications.
- Battery drains quickly: Adjust screen brightness, disable unused features like Bluetooth or GPS, and check battery usage in settings to identify power-hungry apps.
