The robot features a compact design with a power button and home button on its top surface. It is equipped with various sensors for navigation and obstacle detection.
Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Attach Side Brushes: Gently press the side brushes onto their respective posts on the bottom of the robot until they click into place.
- Place Charging Dock: Position the charging dock against a wall in an open area. Ensure there is at least 1 meter of clear space on either side of the dock and 2 meters in front of it. Plug the power adapter into the dock and a wall outlet.
- Initial Charging: Place the robot onto the charging dock. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the dock. The indicator light will show charging status. Allow 4-5 hours for a full charge before first use.

Carpet Cleaning and Climbing
The F503 features Smart Boost Climbing ability, allowing it to easily climb over carpets, slide rails, thresholds, and other obstacles up to 2cm high. It provides 3 levels of suction for high-power carpet cleaning.

Automatic Recharge
When the battery is low or cleaning tasks are completed, the robot will automatically return to its charging dock for inductive recharging.

Maintenance

- Empty Dust Bin: After each cleaning cycle, open the robot's top cover, remove the dust bin, and empty its contents. Clean the dust bin with a dry cloth or brush.
- Clean Filter: Remove the HEPA filter from the dust bin and tap it gently to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water. Replace the filter every 3-6 months depending on usage.
- Clean Brushes: Regularly check the main brush and side brushes for tangled hair or debris. Use the cleaning tool (if provided) or scissors to cut and remove any tangled hair.
- Clean Sensors: Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the anti-drop sensors, collision sensors, and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock.
