5. Setup Guide
5.1 Hardware Installation
- Choose Probe Type: Select either the waterproof NTC probe (for liquids like aquariums, fish tanks, aquatic breeding) or the magnetic metal NTC probe (for surface temperature of metal objects like radiators, conduits, boilers).
- Connect Probe: Plug the 3-meter temperature probe into the designated port on the side of the S1BWT device.
- Position Probe: Place the probe in the environment where temperature monitoring and control are required. Ensure the probe is securely positioned and not exposed to fire or water (for magnetic metal probe).
- Power On: Plug the S1BWT device into a suitable power outlet (EU/US/UK/FR/AU plug type). The device will boot up and display its interface.


5.2 Mobile App Installation and Pairing
The S1BWT supports remote control via the Smart Life or Tuya APP. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Download App: Search for "Smart Life" or "Tuya" in your mobile app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS) and install it.
- Enable Permissions: Before adding the device, ensure Bluetooth and location permissions are enabled on your mobile phone.
- Add Device:
- Open the Smart Life app. A pop-up may appear to add a device; click "Add" to proceed.
- If no pop-up, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a device.
- Select "Add Device" and choose to manually enter the password for your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Enter Pairing Mode: After powering on the S1BWT, its red light will flash. This indicates it's waiting for a WiFi connection.
- Complete Pairing:
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the app.
- Confirm the device is flashing.
- Once paired successfully, the app will show a confirmation. Click "Done".
- Remote Control: After a successful WiFi connection, open the app to automatically connect and control the device remotely.

6.1 Device Interface Navigation

- Ladder Price: Allows setting two types of electricity tariff coefficients. When current electricity consumption reaches a corresponding value, two different charges are calculated.
- Peak Valley Price: Supports 24-hour segmented settings for electricity price parameters, power coefficient, etc., offering flexible billing.

6.7 System Settings (Device Interface)
To access and adjust system settings directly on the device:
- Enter Settings: Press and hold the "M/OK" key to enter the background settings.
