3. Product Overview

The UNIWA V909T features a classic flip design with modern functionalities.

3.1. Dual Screen Display

  • Inner Display: 2.8-inch QVGA main screen for navigation and interaction.
  • Outer Display: 1.77-inch QQVGA hard screen to check time, date, incoming calls, and messages without opening the phone.

4. Setup Guide

4.1. Installing the Battery, SIM Card, and Memory Card

  1. Remove the Back Cover: Gently pry open the back cover of the phone.
  2. Insert SIM Card: Locate the SIM card slot. This phone supports a single Nano SIM card. Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
  3. Insert Memory Card (Optional): If you wish to expand storage, insert a TF (MicroSD) card into the dedicated slot, with gold contacts facing down. The phone supports up to 32GB.
  4. Insert Battery: Place the 2250mAh Li-ion polymer battery into the battery compartment, aligning the contacts.
  5. Replace Back Cover: Carefully align and press the back cover until it clicks securely into place.

4.2. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the phone battery.

  1. Connect the charger to the charging dock.
  2. Place the phone into the charging dock. Ensure the phone is seated correctly and the charging indicator light on the dock illuminates.
  3. Alternatively, you can connect the charger directly to the Micro USB port on the side of the phone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power/End Call button (red button) until the screen lights up.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power/End Call button until the power-off options appear, then select 'Power off'.

5.2. Making and Receiving Calls

  • Making a Call: Dial the number using the keypad and press the Call button (green button).
  • Receiving a Call: When the phone rings, open the flip to answer, or press the Call button.
  • Ending a Call: Close the flip or press the Power/End Call button.

5.3. Messaging (SMS)

  1. Navigate to the 'Message' menu.
  2. Select 'Write message' to compose a new SMS.
  3. Enter the recipient's number and your message.
  4. Send the message.

5.4. Speed Dial

You can set numbers 2-9 as speed dial buttons for quick access to frequently called contacts.

  1. Go to 'Settings' > 'Speed Dial'.
  2. Select a number key (2-9) and assign a contact from your phonebook.
  3. To use, press and hold the assigned number key.

5.5. SOS Emergency Function

The SOS button allows you to quickly contact pre-set emergency numbers.

  1. Setting SOS Numbers: Go to 'Settings' > 'SOS Settings'. You can preset up to 5 SOS numbers and one emergency SMS message.
  2. Using SOS: In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button on the back of the phone. The phone will automatically call the pre-set numbers in sequence and send the emergency SMS.

5.6. Radio Function

The phone includes an FM radio. Navigate to the 'Radio' application in the menu to listen to local stations.
