4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera battery. Connect the provided data cable to the camera's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2 Inserting the Memory Card

Locate the memory card slot on the side of the camera. Gently insert the included 64GB memory card with the gold contacts facing the correct direction (refer to the diagram on the camera or in the manual for orientation) until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

4.3 Attaching the Lanyard

Thread the hanging rope (lanyard) through the designated loop on the camera body. This helps prevent accidental drops and provides a secure way to carry your camera.

4.4 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol) to turn the camera on or off. The screen will light up when powered on.

4.5 Initial Settings

Upon first power-on or after a factory reset, you may be prompted to set the date, time, and language. Use the navigation buttons (up/down/left/right) and the OK button to make your selections.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Taking Photos

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
  3. Autofocus: Half-press the shutter button. The camera will automatically focus on the subject. A green box or indicator will appear when focus is achieved.
  4. Fully press the shutter button to capture the photo.

5.2 Recording Videos

  1. Switch the camera to video mode (if applicable, usually via a mode button or menu option).
  2. Press the shutter button to start recording. A red indicator or timer will appear on the screen.
  3. Press the shutter button again to stop recording.

5.3 Zoom Function

Use the W (Wide) and T (Telephoto) buttons, typically located near the shutter, to zoom in and out. The camera supports 16X digital zoom.

5.4 Fill Light and Flash

The camera features 3 tones of fill light (No light, Fill light, Cool, Warm) to adapt to different lighting conditions. Activate the flash for additional illumination in dark environments.

5.5 Special Functions

  • Anti-Shake: This feature helps stabilize images and videos, reducing blur caused by camera movement.
  • Continuous Shooting: Capture a rapid sequence of photos by holding down the shutter button.
  • Self-Timer: Set a delay of 2, 5, or 10 seconds before a photo is taken, allowing you to get into the shot.
  • Webcam Function: Connect the camera to a computer via the data cable to use it as a webcam for video calls or streaming.
  • Special Effects: Explore built-in effects like black and white mode or smile detection to add a creative touch to your photos.

5.6 Playback and Deletion

In playback mode, use the navigation buttons to scroll through your photos and videos. Press the 'OK' button to view videos. To delete a file, select it and press the delete button (often marked with a trash can icon), then confirm your choice.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Camera

Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the camera body and lens. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, which can damage the camera's surface or optics.

6.2 Battery Care
