4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

1. Before first use, fully charge the hair clipper.
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the clipper's charging port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port.
3. The LED display will indicate the charging status and battery percentage. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
4. Once fully charged, the clipper provides up to 120 minutes of cordless operation.

4.2 Attaching Guide Combs

1. Ensure the clipper is turned off before attaching or detaching guide combs.
2. Select the desired guide comb (1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, or 6mm) based on your preferred cutting length.
3. Align the guide comb with the clipper blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
4. To remove, gently pull the comb upwards from the blade.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• To turn on the clipper, press the power button.
• To turn off the clipper, press the power button again.

5.2 Hair Trimming

1. Ensure hair is clean and dry (or slightly damp for wet haircuts).
2. Attach the desired guide comb for the initial cut length. For detailed work or very short cuts (less than 0.5mm), the clipper can be used without a guide comb.
3. Hold the clipper with the blade flat against the skin, moving against the direction of hair growth.
4. Use smooth, even strokes.
5. Regularly check the LED display for battery status during use.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Blade

1. Turn off the clipper and detach the guide comb.
2. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blade and the clipper body.
3. The tool head supports 'knife wash' technology. You can rinse the blade under running water. Ensure the clipper body is not submerged if it's not explicitly stated as fully waterproof.
4. After rinsing, shake off excess water and allow the blade to air dry completely before reattaching the protection cover or storing.

6.2 Lubrication

For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to lubricate the blades regularly. Apply a small drop of clipper oil (not included) to the blades after each cleaning or every few uses. Turn on the clipper for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.
