6. Maintenance

6.1. Device Care

  • Keep the device clean and free from dust and moisture.
  • Store the device in its original protective carrying case when not in use to prevent damage.
  • Avoid dropping the device or subjecting it to strong impacts.

6.2. Software Updates

The FOXWELL T2000 PRO offers lifetime free software updates via WiFi and USB. Regularly updating your device ensures you have the latest vehicle coverage and features.

  1. Connect the device to a Wi-Fi network or to a computer via USB.
  2. Navigate to the 'Update' section in the device menu.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install available updates.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Sensor Activation Failure: Ensure the T2000 PRO is placed very close to the tire sensor during activation. If the original sensors are dead or cannot be scanned, activation may fail.
  • Sensor Cloning Issues: To perform sensor cloning, you must first know the old sensor ID. If not, use another scanner to retrieve the old sensor ID before attempting cloning with the T2000 PRO.
  • Incorrect Menu Selection: If a specific menu option (e.g., for sensor activation) fails to work for your car, try other relevant menu options. Vehicle compatibility can sometimes vary, and trying different options for your car's make/model/year might resolve the issue.
  • General Functionality Issues: If you encounter persistent issues, ensure your device software is up-to-date. If problems persist, contact customer support.

8. User Tips

  • Language Change: If you wish to change the device language, you may need to send the serial number of your T2000 PRO to customer support for activation of additional language packs.
  • Vehicle Compatibility: If you are unsure about the compatibility of the T2000 PRO with your specific vehicle, provide the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to customer support for verification before attempting complex procedures.
  • Key Fob Frequency: When selecting menu options for sensor activation or key fob testing, if you know your key fob's frequency (315MHz or 433MHz), it can help narrow down the correct menu selection. If not, systematically try the available options for your vehicle.

9. Warranty and Support

The FOXWELL T2000 PRO comes with lifetime free software updates, ensuring your device remains current with the latest vehicle data and features. For any technical assistance or inquiries, 24/7/365 support is available.
