Setup Instructions
- Connect to Host Device: Plug the USB-C connector of the docking station into the USB-C port of your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

- Connect Peripherals:
- HDMI Display: Connect an HDMI cable from your monitor or TV to the HDMI port on the docking station for video output. Ensure your display and cable support 4K@60Hz for optimal performance.
- USB Devices: Plug your USB-A peripherals (e.g., keyboard, mouse, USB flash drive, hard disk, card reader) into the USB 3.0 ports.
- USB-C Devices: Connect compatible USB-C devices to the USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port for data transfer.
- Ethernet Cable: For a stable wired network connection, plug an RJ45 Ethernet cable into the Gigabit Ethernet port.
- Power Delivery (Optional): If your host device requires charging, connect your USB-C power adapter to the PD 100W port on the docking station. This allows pass-through charging of your device while using the hub.

Operating Instructions
- Video Output: The HDMI port supports up to 4K resolution at 60Hz, providing a high-quality visual experience. Connect your device to an external display for extended desktop or mirroring.

- Data Transfer: Utilize the USB 3.0 ports and the USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port for high-speed data transfer up to 5Gbps. This allows for quick transfer of large files, such as 1GB in approximately 3 seconds.

Maintenance
- Keep the docking station clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not drop or subject the device to strong impacts.
- Disconnect the hub from your device when not in use for extended periods.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact customer support if issues arise.
Troubleshooting
- No video output via HDMI:
- Ensure the USB-C connection to your host device is secure.
- Verify that your HDMI cable is functioning correctly and securely connected.
- Check if your host device and external display both support 4K@60Hz.
- Confirm that your host device's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode).
- USB devices are not recognized or transfer slowly:
- Ensure the USB-C connection to your host device is secure.
- Try connecting the USB device directly to your host device to rule out device issues.
- Some high-power USB devices may require external power. Ensure the PD port is connected if needed.
- No network connection via RJ45:
- Check the Ethernet cable connection to both the hub and your router/modem.
- Verify that your network settings on the host device are configured correctly.
- Restart your router/modem and host device.
- Host device is not charging via PD port:
- Ensure your USB-C power adapter is connected to the PD port and is functional.
- Verify that your host device supports USB-C Power Delivery.
- Check the power adapter's wattage to ensure it meets your device's requirements.
User Tips
- For optimal 4K@60Hz video output, ensure that both your input device (laptop/tablet) and output device (monitor/TV), as well as the HDMI cable, fully support 4K@60Hz resolution.
- When using OTG functionality with a phone or tablet, confirm that your mobile device supports OTG. In some cases, an additional OTG adapter might be needed to enable this feature.
- The aluminum alloy casing is designed for good heat dissipation, but it's normal for the hub to feel warm during heavy use, especially when charging or driving a 4K display.

The Vention 6-in-1 USB-C Docking Station comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or external factors.
