3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Clipper

Before first use, ensure the clipper is fully charged. The VGR V-880C features a 2500 mAh lithium battery.

1. Connect the provided USB cable to the charging base.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a certified 5V power adapter (not included).
3. Place the hair clipper onto the charging base. The LED indicator light on the clipper will show charging status.
4. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours and provides up to 150 minutes of working time.

3.2. Attaching Guide Combs

The clipper comes with 10 guide combs for various cutting lengths.

1. Select the desired guide comb based on the length indicated on the comb (1.5mm to 25mm).
2. Align the comb with the clipper blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Turning On/Off and Adjusting Speed

1. To turn on the device, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
2. To change modes or speed settings, short press the power button.
3. To turn off the device, press and hold the power button again for 3 seconds.

4.2. Adjusting Cutting Length (Without Guide Comb)

The clipper features a taper lever for 5-level unlimited cutting length adjustment without a guide comb.

• Use the taper lever on the side of the clipper to adjust the blade position.
• The cutting length can be adjusted from 0.8mm to 2mm.
• Move the lever up for shorter cuts and down for longer cuts.

The VGR V-880C features ultra-sharp ceramic and metal injection molding (MIM) blades that are rust-resistant and designed for durability.

• The blades are designed to stay cooler and last longer.
• Due to airline regulations, lubricants are not included with the product. If lubrication is desired, use a suitable clipper oil (not included) sparingly on the blades.
