7. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the touchscreen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- General Cleaning: Keep the unit and surrounding area free of dust and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean vents and ports.
- Avoid Liquids: Do not spill liquids on the unit. If liquid enters the unit, disconnect power immediately and consult a professional.
8. Troubleshooting
- Q: Is the product always on? Does it still work after the car is turned off?
- A: Please check your wiring. The red wire needs to be connected to your car's ACC (car key hole) to ensure the machine turns off when your car is off. The yellow wire needs to be connected to the positive pole of the battery, and the black wire to the negative pole of the battery. Correct connection of each wire ensures normal product use.
- Q: Cannot use the memory function? Cannot save channels?
- A: Please check your wiring. If the ACC line (red wire) and the B+ line (yellow wire) are reversed during installation, the product will have no memory function after the power is off. Ensure each function wire is connected correctly.
- Q: Cannot connect to Bluetooth?
- A: Delete any existing Bluetooth records on both your mobile phone and the car stereo, then re-match the connection. When connecting a new Bluetooth device, previous records may need to be cleared.
- Q: Music is playing but cannot hear sound?
- A: Check if FM radio is currently active. If so, turn off the FM function.
- Q: Does it support external subwoofers? How can I connect it?
- A: Yes, it supports external subwoofers. Connect the subwoofer directly to the L-OUT and R-OUT ports, or use an adapter and connect its lead to the B harness.
9. User Tips
- For Android Mirror Link, ensure you enable Developer Options and USB Debugging on your phone for proper connection.
- If the car stereo does not respond during Mirror Link setup, try reinserting the USB cable.
- Always double-check your wiring connections, especially the power (ACC, B+, Ground) to avoid issues with power cycling and memory retention.
