3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your ieGeek IG50 camera and connect it to your Wi-Fi network:

1. Download and Register the App: Search for "ieGeek" app in your mobile app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android). Download and install the "ieGeek" app. Register a new account using your email address and select your region.

2. Connect to Power: Connect the camera to the power supply using the provided power cable. The red indicator light on the camera will light up.

3. Reset the Camera: Long press the RESET button on the camera for approximately 20 seconds. You will hear a voice prompt saying "reset successfully." This prepares the camera for pairing.

4. Add Device in App: Open the ieGeek app. Click the "+" icon (usually in the top left corner) to add a new device. Select the camera type "Outdoor Cameras."

5. Confirm Power and Scan QR Code: In the app, confirm that the camera is powered on and click "Next." The app will then prompt you to scan the QR code located on the back of your camera to identify it.

6. Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. (Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).

7. Scan Mobile Phone QR Code: The app will display a QR code. Hold your mobile phone with the QR code facing the camera lens at a distance of about 15-25cm. After the camera successfully scans the QR code, it will emit a prompt sound.

8. Finalize Connection: The camera will issue a "Connect successfully" voice prompt. The app will show a strong Wi-Fi signal. You can then name your device (e.g., "Front Door," "Backyard") and click "Finish."
