4. Assembly and Setup
4.1 Attaching Casters
Attach the casters to the base of the vacuum for easy mobility. Ensure they are securely fastened before use.
4.2 Filter Installation
Proper filter installation is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent damage to the motor.
- For Dry Vacuuming: Use the Cartridge Filter. Ensure it is clean and properly seated over the filter cage.
- For Wet Vacuuming: Remove the Cartridge Filter and install the Foam Wet Filter over the filter cage. The foam filter is designed to prevent liquids from reaching the motor.

4.3 Attaching Hose and Accessories
Connect the premium hose to the vacuum's intake port. The hose and accessories feature a locking mechanism to prevent accidental detachment during use. Attach the desired extension wands and nozzles (utility nozzle, crevice tool, floor brush/squeegee nozzle) as needed for your cleaning task.
5. Operation
5.1 Dry Vacuuming
Ensure the Cartridge Filter is installed. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Turn on the vacuum using the large on/off dust-sealed switch. Use the appropriate nozzle for the surface you are cleaning. The 17-foot cleaning reach (with hose and power cord) allows for extensive coverage.

5.2 Wet Vacuuming
Before wet vacuuming, ensure the Cartridge Filter is removed and the Foam Wet Filter is installed. Do not use the paper cartridge filter for wet pick-up. When the tank is full, the float mechanism will automatically shut off suction. Turn off the vacuum and unplug it. To empty the tank, use the extra-large drain port located at the bottom of the tank or remove the motor head and pour out the liquid.
5.3 Blower Function
The wet/dry vacuum can be easily converted into a powerful blower. To do this, detach the hose from the intake port and connect it to the exhaust port (typically located on the back or side of the motor head). This allows you to clear debris from your yard, workshop, or other areas.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Emptying the Tank
For dry debris, unlatch the motor head and lift it off. Dispose of the contents of the tank into a waste receptacle. For liquids, use the extra-large drain port or carefully pour out the liquid after removing the motor head.
6.2 Filter Cleaning and Replacement
- Cartridge Filter: For dry use, tap the filter gently to dislodge dust. For heavy buildup, the filter can be rinsed with water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation. Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
- Foam Wet Filter: Rinse the foam filter with water after wet use. Squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely before storing or using again.
6.3 General Cleaning
Wipe down the exterior of the vacuum and accessories with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all parts are dry before storage.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum does not start | No power supply | Check power cord connection and wall outlet. Test outlet with another device. |
| Loss of suction | Clogged hose or filter | Check hose for obstructions. Clean or replace filters. |
| Water coming from exhaust during wet vacuuming | Foam filter not installed or tank is full | Ensure foam filter is correctly installed. Empty the tank. |
| Motor overheats | Blocked airflow or prolonged use | Check for blockages in hose, nozzles, or filters. Allow motor to cool down. |

Note: Tank Size refers to the actual tank volume, and does not reflect capacity available during operation. Peak Horsepower is a term used in the wet-dry vac industry for consumer comparison purposes. It does not denote the operational horsepower output of a wet-dry vac, but rather the horsepower output of a motor, including the motor's inertial contribution, achieved in laboratory testing. In actual use, motors do not operate at the peak horsepower.

9. User Tips
- Regularly check and clean your filters. A clogged filter can significantly reduce suction power and strain the motor.
- For optimal performance, ensure all hose and accessory connections are secure and locked into place before operating.
- When using the blower function, always direct the airflow away from people and delicate objects.
