This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your AWESAFE PX9 series car radio autoradio. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper functionality and to maximize your user experience. The AWESAFE PX9 series offers advanced features including Android 13 OS, IPS 1280*720 resolution screen, Wireless Carplay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation, Bluetooth, DSP, and more.

Compatibility
- Vehicle Models: Compatible with Renault Clio 4 models from 2012 to 2019.
- Important Note: This product is NOT compatible with Renault Zoe models.
- Sound System: If your car has a BOSE sound system, this radio does NOT support it. Please do not purchase if you have a BOSE system.
Model Selection (A or B)
Please choose the correct model (A or B) based on the year of your car and the position of the air conditioner hole mark:
- Model A: For 2016-2019 models.
- Model B: For 2012-2016 models.

Installation Note on Air Conditioning Net
There may be gaps in the location of the air conditioning net after installation. If this is a concern, please consider this before purchase.

Setup and Installation
Pre-installation Check
Before beginning installation, ensure all components are present and compatible with your vehicle. The power cable is designed for plug-and-play, but not all original plugs may need to be connected. For some Clio original car DVDs, additional wiring may be required.

Rear View Camera Wiring
If you are installing a rear view camera, follow this wiring diagram:
- Connect the red wire (1) from the camera to the car's reverse light positive (+).
- Connect the black wire (2) from the camera to the car's reverse light negative (-) or chassis ground.
- Connect the yellow RCA video cable (3) from the camera to the 'CAM IN' port on the car radio.
- Connect the red wire (4) from the video cable to the car's reverse light positive (+).
- Connect the red wire (5) from the video cable to the 'REVERSE' or 'BACK' wire on the car radio's power harness.

Steering Wheel Control (SWC) Setup
To enable steering wheel controls, follow the instructions based on whether your package includes a Canbus module:
Without Canbus:
- For 1+16GB models: Click the 'Settings' icon, then the 'Control' icon. Follow the on-screen instructions to learn the buttons.
- For PX9 models: Click the 'Control' icon directly. Follow the on-screen instructions to learn the buttons.
- For PX9S models: Navigate to 'Settings' → 'Car information' → 'SWC'. Follow the on-screen instructions.

With Canbus:
If your package includes a Canbus module, connect it first. Ensure the Canbus cable is connected not only to the Canbus module but also to the back of the machine with the additional 8-pin cable.

Operating Instructions
User Interface (UI)
The AWESAFE PX9 series features a personalized UI design for enhanced convenience and safety. Common functions are integrated into the desktop, allowing you to switch between navigation, music, Bluetooth calls, and other features with one click.

Wireless Carplay & Android Auto
The PX9 Pro and PX9 Plus models support Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Connect your phone via USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. Once connected, you can access navigation, make calls, send messages, and enjoy music directly from your phone on the car radio screen.

GPS Navigation
The system includes built-in offline maps and supports online maps, ensuring uninterrupted navigation regardless of network conditions. Free map updates are provided to keep your data current.

Bluetooth Connectivity
Enjoy fast Bluetooth pairing for hands-free calls using the built-in microphone. You can also stream music from your device to the car radio via Bluetooth.
Radio (FM/RDS)
The radio supports FM and RDS functions. Online radio is also available, offering access to stations from over 20 countries.
DSP Sound System
The Digital Sound Processor (DSP) optimizes sound quality with 12 or 30 equalizer settings (depending on model). It allows fine-tuning of audio parameters like equalization, bass filtering, and sound folding for an optimal listening experience tailored to your car and speaker setup.

Split Screen Functionality
The split screen feature allows for superior multitasking. You can run two applications simultaneously, for example, navigation for the driver and video playback for the passenger, or music playback alongside ADAS DVR functions.

4G LTE Connectivity (Optional)
For 4G versions, you can always have internet access in your car, enjoying online music, videos, real-time maps, and traffic information before your trip. The 4G SIM cable allows you to replace the SIM card without disassembling the unit (Only for PX9 Plus).

Cooling Fan
The radio features a powerful cooling fan to prevent overheating, which helps reduce reboots or touch issues during extended use and ensures multiple apps run smoothly. The system adjusts the fan speed based on ambient temperature. You can also set temperature thresholds for fan activation.

Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Device stays on after turning off the car: If the unit remains powered on after the car is turned off, you may need to manually switch it off. This could indicate a wiring issue or a setting that needs adjustment. Review your wiring connections, especially the ACC wire, and check the car settings within the radio's menu.
- Steering Wheel Controls not working: Ensure the steering wheel control setup process (detailed in the Setup section) has been completed correctly. If a Canbus is present, verify both Canbus and the 8-pin cable are properly connected.
- CarPlay/Android Auto connection issues: Ensure you are using the correct USB port (4-pin with 4 small holes) and accessing the correct app ('Phonelink' or 'Tlink') on the radio. For Android Auto, an activation code may be required.
- Internal microphone performance: The internal microphone is designed for hands-free calling. If you experience issues, ensure no obstructions are blocking the microphone. For improved call quality, an external microphone set can be purchased separately.
- Missing cables for installation: For certain Clio original car DVDs, additional cables may be required. Please refer to the 'Pre-installation Check' in the Setup section.

User Tips
- Initial GPS Fix: The device needs to successfully acquire a satellite signal for the first time to update its internal clock.
- Memory Usage: Be aware that the operating system and preinstalled applications will consume a portion of the internal memory. Installing large map packages (e.g., Europe map) will further reduce available storage.
- Subwoofer Connection: If your car has a subwoofer, an RCA cable is required for connection. For WiFi versions, this cable is not included and must be purchased separately.
- Canbus Wiring: When using a Canbus module, ensure both the Canbus cable and the separate 8-pin cable are connected to the back of the radio for full functionality.
- Android Auto Activation: For Android Auto functionality, an activation code may be required. Contact customer service after purchase for the activation method and code.
