2. Safety Warnings and Precautions
Please read and follow all instructions carefully to prevent injury or damage to the lock.
2.1. Common Usage
- This lock is designed for indoor use and should only be used as described in this manual.
- Ensure all parts are present before installation. Contact customer service if any parts are missing.
- A protective film is present on the front touch screen; remove it if scratched.
- Use 4 AA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types.
- Before installation, ensure door surfaces are flat and free of defects like gaps or warping, as this can affect lock functionality.
- Do not apply detergents directly to the lock. Use only clean water or a mild cleaner with a soft cloth for cleaning.
- The lock works without the app, but full smart functionality requires the Tuya APP.
2.2. Electronic Switch Button Setting
By default, the administrator password is 123456. This must be changed to enable network settings. The electronic lock button is unlocked in the factory state.
- ON/OFF (Administrator only): Press once to lock. Voice broadcast: "The door was locked."
- ON/OFF (Administrators and common users): Press again to unlock. Voice broadcast: "The lock is off."
Note: Press the electronic lock switch once to unlock, and press it again to close.

5. Installation Guide
Please ensure your door thickness is between 35-60mm. Refer to the diagrams for proper installation.
5.1. Door Opening Direction Selection
Determine your door's opening direction (Right handle opening: Right inwards, Right outwards; Left handle opening: Left inwards, Left outwards) to correctly adjust the handle orientation.
5.2. Adjust Right Handle and Left Handle
5.2.1. Adjust the front panel handles left or right
- Remove the reversing screws on the front panel using a screwdriver.
- Turn the handle 180°.
- Turn your hand to the left.
- Reinstall the reversing screws and tighten them.
Important: Do not remove the screws in the handle hole.
5.2.2. Adjust the back panel handles left or right
- Insert a screwdriver into the handle hole and unscrew the screw.
- Pull out the handle and turn it 180°.
- Turn the handle to the left and attach the handle shaft.
- Reinstall the screw and tighten it.
Note: Remember to check and install a spring in the handle hole.
5.3. Mortise Lock Installation
The mortise lock supports various types of lock bodies. Ensure you select the correct one for your door.

5.3.1. Double Deadbolt Mortise Lock Internal and External Conversion
To reverse the latch paddle:
- Pull the latch pick to the other end.
- Push the latch into the lock body and turn it 180°.
Caution: It is forbidden to remove and assemble the side slats of the mortise lock without permission.
5.4. General Installation Steps
- Install the mortise lock.
- Install the front panel.
- Install the back panel.
- Install 4 AA batteries.
- Install the strike plate and strike box (for wood doors only).

6. Smart Lock Operation
6.1. Initialization Settings
Before using the lock, you must register a new administrator. If not, you cannot configure a Wi-Fi-enabled lock.
- Hold down the reset button on the back panel for 5 seconds.
- The lock will be initialized.
