Setup Instructions
- Install Batteries in Transmitter: Open the battery compartment on the MG44 Transmitter and insert the required batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
- Connect Receiver to Vehicle: Mount the R4P1 Receiver securely in your RC vehicle. Connect the receiver to the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) and steering servo according to your vehicle's specific wiring diagram. Ensure the receiver is powered by the vehicle's battery or BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit).
- Binding Procedure:
- Turn on the transmitter.
- Power on the RC vehicle (which powers the receiver).
- Locate the bind button/port on the R4P1 Receiver. Press and hold the bind button (or insert a bind plug into the bind port).
- The receiver's LED indicator should flash, indicating it's in binding mode.
- Release the bind button/remove the bind plug. The LED should become solid, indicating a successful bind.
- If binding fails, repeat the steps.
- Test Controls: After successful binding, test the steering and throttle controls to ensure they respond correctly and in the right direction. Adjust servo reverse settings on the transmitter if necessary.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Always turn on the transmitter first, then power on your RC vehicle.
- Steering Control: Use the steering wheel on the left side of the transmitter to control the vehicle's direction (left/right).
- Throttle Control: Use the trigger on the transmitter for throttle control. Pull the trigger back to accelerate forward, push it forward to brake or reverse.
- Auxiliary Functions: Utilize the various buttons and switches on the transmitter for any auxiliary functions your RC vehicle may have (e.g., lights, gear shifting, differential lock), if supported.
- Power Off: Always power off your RC vehicle first, then turn off the transmitter. This prevents accidental runaway.
