5.3 Finishing a Seam
- After sewing is completed, turn the handwheel toward you (counterclockwise) to raise the needle and thread take-up lever.
- Raise the presser foot.
- Take the fabric off and cut the thread using the integrated thread cutter (refer to Figure 1).
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance. Use a soft brush to remove lint and dust from the bobbin area and feed dogs. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
6.2 Needle Replacement
Dull or bent needles can cause skipped stitches or fabric damage. Replace the needle regularly, especially when working with different fabric types or if you notice issues. Always ensure the power is off and the machine is unplugged before changing the needle.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine not sewing normally | Incorrect upper or bottom threading. | Re-thread the machine carefully, following all steps in the manual. |
| Skipped stitches or uneven tension | Dull or bent needle, incorrect thread tension, improper threading. | Replace needle, adjust thread tension adjustment wheel, re-thread. |
| Machine jams or stops | Function adjusting wheel turned while running, fabric too thick/stretchy. | Ensure machine is off before adjusting wheel. Check fabric thickness (0.3-1.8mm) and avoid overly stretchy materials. |
| No power | Power adapter not properly connected, power switch off. | Check power adapter connection to machine and outlet. Ensure power switch is on. |
