A full charge typically takes approximately 1.5 hours.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your CYCLAMI CY200 tail light, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the light with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Water Resistance: The light is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets. However, avoid submerging it in water for extended periods. Ensure the Type-C port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain water resistance.
  • Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% to prolong its lifespan.
  • Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge promptly when the low battery indicator appears.

7. Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Light does not turn on.Battery is depleted.
Power button not pressed correctly.
Charge the light for at least 1.5 hours.
Press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds.
Light does not charge.Faulty cable or power source.
Charging port obstructed.
Try a different USB Type-C cable and power adapter.
Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris.
Automatic shutdown occurs too quickly or not at all.Constant vibration detected.
Sensor malfunction.
Ensure the light is mounted securely to minimize false vibration readings. The auto-shutdown activates after 30 seconds of stillness. If it's constantly vibrating, it won't turn off.
Brake sensing not working.Sensor obstruction or malfunction.Ensure the light is clean and nothing is blocking the sensor area. Test by simulating a quick stop.

If the problem persists, please refer to the Warranty and Support section.

9. User Tips

Based on common user inquiries and feedback, here are some tips for getting the most out of your CYCLAMI CY200:

  • Daylight Mode: To use the light during the day, simply power it on and select your preferred mode. The high brightness and various flash patterns are effective for daytime visibility.
  • Managing Auto-Off: The automatic shutdown feature is designed to save battery. If you prefer the light to stay on constantly, ensure there is continuous movement or vibration. There is no direct option to disable the auto-off feature, as it's integral to the smart sensing.
  • Battery Life: While the 600mAh battery provides good daily use, frequent use of high-brightness or complex flashing modes will consume more power. Consider using lower brightness or steady modes for longer rides.
  • Mounting Stability: Ensure the light is mounted very securely. Loose mounting can lead to inaccurate brake sensing or accidental mode changes due to excessive vibration.
