6. Setup

6.1 Charging the Screwdriver

  1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the screwdriver handle.
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the screwdriver and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light will turn red during charging. It will turn off once the battery is fully charged. Charging typically takes over 60 minutes.

6.2 Installing Bits

  1. Select the appropriate precision bit for your task from the 24 included bits.
  2. Insert the bit firmly into the magnetic bit socket at the tip of the screwdriver. The magnetic design will hold it securely.

6.3 Using the Magnetizer

To enhance the magnetic properties of the bits for better screw retention, use the included magnetizer:

  1. To magnetize a bit, slide it through the '+' opening of the magnetizer several times.
  2. To demagnetize a bit, slide it through the '-' opening several times.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Electric Mode Operation

  1. To activate electric mode, press and hold the LED Switch/Gear Adjust button for 3 seconds.
  2. The screwdriver offers two electric torque gears: Low Gear (0.15 N.m) and High Gear (0.35 N.m). Use the LED Switch/Gear Adjust button to cycle between these gears as needed for different tasks.
  3. Press the Forward Button to tighten screws (clockwise rotation).
  4. Press the Reverse Button to loosen screws (counter-clockwise rotation).
  5. The idling speed in electric mode is 200 RPM.

7.2 Manual Mode Operation

For tasks requiring higher torque (greater than 5 N.m) or for initial loosening/final tightening of stubborn screws, the screwdriver can be used in manual mode. Simply apply manual force to turn the screwdriver as you would with a traditional screwdriver.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the screwdriver handle and bits with a clean, dry cloth after each use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the screwdriver set in its provided storage case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery longevity, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Charge the screwdriver regularly, even if not in constant use.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Screwdriver not turning on: Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the USB charging cable and allow it to charge for over 60 minutes.
  • Bits not holding screws: Use the included magnetizer to re-magnetize the bit. Ensure the screw is ferrous (magnetic).
  • Insufficient torque in electric mode: Switch to the higher electric gear (0.35 N.m) or use the screwdriver in manual mode for tasks requiring more than 0.35 N.m of torque.
  • LED light not working: Check if the screwdriver is powered on. If the issue persists, ensure the battery is charged.

10. User Tips

  • For very small or delicate screws, it is often best to start in manual mode to avoid overtightening and potential damage to the screw head or component.
  • Always utilize the magnetic mat provided to organize and prevent the loss of tiny screws and components during disassembly and reassembly.
  • Ensure you select the exact correct bit size for each screw to prevent stripping the screw head, which can make removal extremely difficult.
  • When working on sensitive electronics, discharge any static electricity from your body before handling components.
