6. Setup and Installation
The track can be assembled quickly with the following steps:
- Step 1: Assembly track. Connect the track segments as needed for your desired length.
- Step 2: Loose the latches. Release the latches on the track components.
- Step 3: Drag the buckle to sub gear box. Position the buckle correctly into the sub gear box.
- Step 4: Adjust knob. Turn the knob to secure the components.
- Step 5: Insert the latches. Secure the latches to lock the track segments. Pull the belt tightly outward, then press down the carrier lock buckle.
- Step 6: Cut the belt. Trim any excess belt, leaving approximately 2 cm.

7.1 APP Control
The Zemismart Smart Slide Curtain Motor supports Matter, allowing control through various Matter-certified smart home apps such as Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings. Ensure you have a Matter-enabled hub (Matter Controller) to add this device to your preferred app.


7.2 Voice Control
Control your curtains using voice commands through compatible smart speakers. The motor supports Siri, Alexa, Google Home, and Bixby voice control. A corresponding voice speaker is required for this functionality.


7.3 Remote Control
The included RF remote control allows for direct operation of the curtain motor. It is powered by a CR2450 button cell (not included). The remote features:

8. Pairing Instructions
8.1 Connecting to a Smart Home App (Matter)
To add your device to a Matter-compatible smart home app (e.g., Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings), you will need a Matter-compatible smart home hub (Matter Controller). Your Wi-Fi network and Matter-enabled hub must be on the same local area network (LAN).
- Reset Motor: Press the "Set key" on the motor 3 times quickly. The blue indicator light will flash rapidly, indicating it has entered pairing mode.
- Turn on WiFi: Ensure WiFi is enabled on your phone or tablet.
- Select Smart Home App: Open your preferred smart home app (e.g., Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, SmartThings).
- Scan Matter QR Code: Follow the prompts in the app to scan the Matter QR code located on the motor.

8.2 Pairing Motor to Remote Control
These operations only work when the remote control is within the effective control distance and the motor is powered on.
- Step 1: Press the motor's "Set key" once. The motor light will flash.
- Step 2: Within 5 seconds, press the "Up key" on the remote control once.
- Step 3: The motor light will flash rapidly, indicating successful pairing.
