- Avoid Dropping: Protect the device from impacts to maintain its accuracy and functionality.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Dead or incorrectly installed batteries. | Replace batteries with new 3A alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity. |
| Inaccurate readings. | Improper calibration; gauge not firmly seated on valve; extreme temperature changes. | Ensure proper calibration at startup. Press the nozzle firmly onto the valve. Allow the device to acclimate to extreme temperatures before use. |
| Air leaks when checking pressure. | Gauge not properly sealed on valve stem. | Ensure a tight seal by pressing the nozzle firmly and squarely onto the valve stem. |
| Display is dim or flickering. | Low battery power. | Replace batteries. |
8. User Tips
- For optimal accuracy, check tire pressure when tires are cold (before driving).
- The T300 is designed for Schrader valves. If you intend to use it with Presta valves (common on some bicycles), a separate Presta to Schrader valve adapter will be required as it is not included with this product.
- Always ensure the gauge is properly calibrated before each use by powering it on and waiting for the "Ready to Use" indication.
