Product Overview
The ZOYI ZT-N1 is a high-performance smart soldering iron designed for precision repair and general soldering tasks. It features an internal heating element for rapid temperature achievement and an OLED display for clear information.

Setup
- **Unpacking**: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- **Tip Installation**: Ensure the T12 soldering tip is securely inserted into the heating element. The tip is designed for easy replacement.
- **Power Connection**: Connect the soldering iron to a compatible power source using the provided USB Type-C cable. The device supports PD (Power Delivery) and QC (Quick Charge) protocols for flexible power options, including plug-in charging or power bank charging.
- **Placement**: Place the soldering iron on its designated stand when not actively held for soldering to prevent accidental burns or damage.

Operating Instructions

- **Power On/Off**:
- To turn on the device, press and hold the power button (labeled with a power symbol and "OK") for 2 seconds.
- To turn off the device, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds again.
- **Navigation and Adjustment**:
- In the main interface, briefly press the power button to move the menu selection to the right.
- In the main interface, briefly press the 'Up' or 'Down' arrow buttons to move the menu selection to the left or right, respectively.
- In the usage or settings interface, press the 'Up' or 'Down' arrow buttons to increase or decrease the setting parameters (e.g., temperature).
- In the usage or settings interface, briefly press the power button to confirm a selection or return to the main interface.
- **Temperature Setting**:
- Once powered on, the OLED display will show the current temperature and set temperature.
- Use the 'Up' and 'Down' arrow buttons to adjust the desired soldering temperature within the range of 100°C to 450°C (212°F to 842°F).
- The device features PID temperature control for rapid and stable heating.
- **Auto Sleep Mode**:
- The soldering iron is equipped with an adjustable sleep mode with automatic sensing.
- If the device is not in use for a set period (default 5-20 minutes, adjustable), it will automatically enter sleep mode to prevent dry burning and extend tip lifespan.
- When picked up, the device automatically heats up to the set temperature.

Maintenance
- **Tip Cleaning**: Regularly clean the soldering tip using a damp sponge or brass wool to remove excess solder and oxidation. This ensures efficient heat transfer and extends tip life.
- **Tip Tinning**: After cleaning and before storage, tin the tip with a small amount of fresh solder to prevent oxidation.
- **Tip Replacement**: If the soldering tip becomes worn or damaged, replace it with a new T12 compatible tip. Ensure the iron is cool and unplugged before replacing the tip.
- **Device Cleaning**: Wipe the body of the soldering iron with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- **Storage**: Store the soldering iron in a dry, safe place, preferably with the aluminum pen cap covering the tip, when not in use.

Troubleshooting
- **Iron Not Heating**:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the iron and the power source.
- Ensure the power source (adapter or power bank) is functioning correctly and provides sufficient power (PD/QC compatible).
- Verify the iron is powered on (hold the power button for 2 seconds).
- If the tip is old or heavily oxidized, it might not heat efficiently. Try cleaning or replacing the tip.
- **OLED Display Not Working**:
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- If the display remains blank after power-on, try disconnecting and reconnecting the power. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- **Temperature Fluctuations**:
- Ensure the soldering tip is properly seated and making good contact with the heating element.
- Avoid using the iron in excessively drafty environments, which can affect temperature stability.
- **Auto Sleep Not Activating/Deactivating**:
- Check the sleep mode settings in the device menu to ensure it's enabled and the duration is set correctly.
- Ensure the iron is placed on a stable surface when not in use for the motion sensor to detect inactivity.
