This manual provides detailed instructions to help you set up and operate your new alarm clock effectively.

Product Overview

The NOKLEAD 5252 Digital Alarm Clock is designed for ease of use with a clear display and intuitive controls.

Display Indicators:

  • AM/PM Icon: Indicates morning or afternoon in 12-hour format.
  • Alarm Icon: Lights up when the alarm is active.
  • Snooze Mode Icon (Zzz): Lights up when snooze is active.

Buttons:

  • SNOOZE/LIGHT Button (Top): Activates snooze, adjusts brightness.
  • TIME SETTING/12/24H Time Format Button (Back): Enters time setting mode, switches time format.
  • UP Button (Back): Increases values during setting.
  • DOWN Button (Back): Decreases values during setting.
  • ALARM SETTING Button (Back): Enters alarm setting mode, turns alarm ON/OFF.
  • RESET Button (Back): Resets the clock to factory defaults.
  • Micro USB Port (Back): Power input.

Setup

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB cable to the Micro USB Port on the back of the alarm clock. Plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included, or use the provided adapter if applicable) and then into a power outlet.
  2. Initial Power On: The display will light up, and the clock will be ready for initial setup.
  3. Battery Note: This product does not include internal batteries and requires continuous power via the USB cable to function. It has a time memory function to retain settings during brief power interruptions.

Operating Instructions

1. Time Setting

  1. Press and hold the TIME SETTING button on the back of the clock. The hour digits will start flashing.
  2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press the TIME SETTING button again. The minute digits will start flashing.
  4. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the minutes.
  5. Press the TIME SETTING button once more to confirm and exit time setting mode.

2. 12/24 Hour Format Switch

  1. In normal time display mode, short press the TIME SETTING button to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
  2. In 12-hour format, 'AM' or 'PM' will be displayed on the left side of the time.

3. Alarm Setting

  1. Press and hold the ALARM SETTING button on the back of the clock. The hour digits of the alarm will start flashing.
  2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press the ALARM SETTING button again. The minute digits of the alarm will start flashing.
  4. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
  5. Press the ALARM SETTING button once more to confirm and exit alarm setting mode. The alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating the alarm is active.

4. Turning Alarm ON/OFF

  1. In normal time display mode, short press the ALARM SETTING button to toggle the alarm ON or OFF.
  2. When the alarm is ON, the alarm icon will be displayed. When OFF, the icon will disappear.

5. Snooze Function

  1. When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock.
  2. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes, and the 'Zzz' snooze icon will appear on the display.
  3. The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes. You can repeat the snooze function.
  4. To turn off the alarm completely, press any button on the back of the clock.

6. Brightness Adjustment

  1. In normal time display mode, short press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock to cycle through 6 levels of brightness (including an off level for the display).
  2. Adjust to your preferred brightness level for day or night.

User Tips

  • The clock features a time memory function, which helps retain your settings during short power outages.
  • The alarm has a fixed volume and will sound for 30 minutes if not turned off or snoozed.
  • For optimal visibility, adjust the brightness level according to the ambient light in your room.
  • Place the clock on a stable, flat surface to prevent accidental falls.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the clock. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
  • Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, disconnect it from power and keep it in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid Water: Keep the device away from water and high humidity environments.

Troubleshooting
