7. Troubleshooting

Keyboard Not Responding:

  • Ensure the keyboard is charged.
  • Check the connection mode switch (2.4G/USB/BT) is set correctly.
  • If in wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
  • If in 2.4G mode, ensure the USB receiver is plugged in and the keyboard is set to 2.4G mode (FN+R).
  • If in Bluetooth mode, ensure it's paired correctly and selected the right channel (FN+Q/W/E). Try re-pairing if issues persist.

Charging Issues:

  • Refer to the detailed charging instructions in Section 4.1. Ensure you are using a standard USB port for charging and avoiding fast chargers.

TFT Screen Not Displaying Correctly:

  • Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
  • If custom GIFs are not displaying, verify they were uploaded correctly via the driver software.

Keys Not Registering or Double-Typing:

  • This could indicate a faulty switch. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the problematic switch (refer to Section 6.2).

Layout Issues (e.g., 'ñ' key):

  • The Ajazz AK980 is typically manufactured with an English (US) layout. If you require a specific regional layout (e.g., Spanish with 'ñ'), please verify product specifications before purchase. Software remapping might be an option for some keys, but physical keycaps would remain English.
