Note: If you prefer not to register an account, you can use the standalone mode for local viewing only. Remote access will not be available in this mode.

3.2 Initial Camera Preparation

  1. Power On: Plug the power adapter into the camera's power port and a power outlet.
  2. Reset Camera: Long-press the reset button (refer to the product overview diagram for location) for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a "Di" sound. The camera will perform a self-inspection after two "Di" sounds.

3.3 WiFi Connection

Before connecting via WiFi, ensure the following:

  • App Permissions: Grant all necessary permissions to the CAM720 app, including GPS/location services. For iOS devices, enable location services in Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
  • WiFi Requirements: The camera supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks only. Ensure your mobile phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz WiFi network.
  • Router Proximity: For the initial connection, place the camera close to your WiFi router.
  • Network Name/Password: The WiFi network name (SSID) and password should not exceed 16 characters.

  1. In the CAM720 APP, tap the "+" icon and select "WiFi connection".

3.4 Wired Connection (if applicable)

If your camera model includes an Ethernet port, it supports both wired and WiFi connections.

  1. Plug the power supply into the camera and connect an Ethernet cable from the camera to your router's LAN port.
  2. In the CAM720 APP, tap the "+" icon and select "Network cable connection".
  3. The app will search for and display the camera's IP address. Select the camera and click to add it.
  4. Once added, click the video feed to view.

3.5 Bluetooth Configuration (Optional)

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  2. After resetting the camera, wait for it to emit two "Di" sounds, indicating the self-test is complete.
  3. In the CAM720 APP, tap the "+" icon and wait 1-2 seconds for the app to automatically search for the camera's Bluetooth signal.
  4. Select the camera's Bluetooth signal, input your WiFi password, and tap "Next".
  5. Wait patiently during the Bluetooth network configuration. Do not exit the app prematurely.

Note: This step is optional. If you need to use it again after ignoring it, close and re-open the CAM720 app.

3.6 Installation

The camera can be installed indoors or outdoors. Ensure the installation location provides a stable WiFi signal if using wireless connectivity.

Indoor Camera Installation:

This camera can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a ceiling or wall.

  1. Attach the provided bracket to the desired wall or ceiling location. Mark the positions for drilling holes.
  2. Drill holes using a 6mm drill bit. Insert the plastic expansion pipes (rubber plugs) into the drilled holes.
  3. Align the bracket with the holes and secure it with the provided screws.
  4. Attach the camera body to the bracket by aligning it and turning it tightly until secure.

Outdoor Camera Installation:

For outdoor installation, ensure the camera is mounted securely and is within range of your WiFi network or has a wired connection.

  1. Assemble the bracket by connecting bracket A and bracket B.
  2. Select a suitable outdoor location. Install expansion screws on the wall at the marked points.
  3. Align the assembled bracket with the screws and tighten them securely.
  4. Attach the camera body to the bracket, ensuring it is firmly in place.
