5. Setup and Configuration
5.1 Initial Setup
- Battery Installation: Ensure compatible button batteries are installed correctly. The device does not include batteries.
- Power On: Press and hold the Power Button to turn on the remote control.
- Firmware Check: The V16 PRO runs on EdgeTX firmware. Check the display for firmware version.
5.2 Firmware Updates
The V16 PRO supports firmware updates via two methods:
- USB-C Online Upgrade: Connect the remote control to a computer using a USB-C cable and follow the EdgeTX update instructions.
- SD Card Offline Upgrade: Download the firmware to an SD card, insert it into the SD card slot, and follow the on-screen instructions for offline update.
5.3 Gimbal Adjustment
The Hall gimbals are adjustable. Refer to the diagram below for adjustment points. Fine-tune the gimbal tension and throw to your preference using appropriate tools.

5.4 External Module Bay
The external module bay is compatible with various micro JR bay modules. Insert your desired module (e.g., Multi-Protocol-Module, ExpressLRS, Ghost, TBS Crossfire, TBS Tracer) into the bay and configure it through the EdgeTX system settings.
6. Operation
6.1 Motion Control
The remote control is equipped with a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope. With future EdgeTX software updates, this hardware enables advanced functions such as motion control and radio attitude perception.

6.2 Intelligent Voice Assistant
The V16 PRO features an AI voice recognition unit for human-machine interaction through customized voice entries. To activate, say "Hello Radio" to the remote control. The voice assistant will recognize and respond to subsequent control commands. If no valid voice is detected within 8 seconds, it enters sleep mode.

6.3 Programmable Gimbal LED
The gimbal features a 16-color LED circle. These LEDs can be programmed using a simple Lua program to customize their colors and patterns, allowing for visual indication of flight modes or personal preference.

The HelloRadio V16 PRO incorporates several safety features to protect the device and ensure reliable operation:
- Reverse-Polarity Protection: Prevents damage from incorrect power supply connection.
- Circuit Protection: Safeguards internal components from electrical faults.
- Module Protection: Ensures external RF modules operate safely.
- Voltage Auto-Calibration: Automatically calibrates voltage readings for accuracy.
- Battery Overvoltage Protection: The charging circuit automatically stops charging if overvoltage is detected in battery cells.
- Real-time Voltage & Current Monitoring: Three independent measurement units monitor the voltage of individual battery cells, charging voltage/current, and overall system/RF module working voltage/current in real-time. The system will alarm or shut down if abnormal voltage or current is detected.

- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the remote control. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
