6.2 Memory Function
The RT01 features a memory function. The last used lighting mode will be memorized when the device is turned off, so you do not need to reset the light mode the next time you turn it on.
6.3 Lighting Modes
The taillight offers a variety of modes to suit different conditions:
- Regular Modes (7 types): Bright, Breathing, Strobe, Slow Strobe, Warning Strobe, Climbing Snake, Double Snake.
- Radar Optional Modes (3 types): Bright, Strobe, Breathing. When the radar detects an approaching object, the taillight will automatically switch to one of these modes (depending on selection) at maximum brightness to alert the rear.

6.4 Radar Detection and Sensing
- Radar Detection Mode: Senses approaching objects within 30 meters behind you and automatically illuminates at maximum brightness to alert the driver.
- Radar Sensing Mode: Any object moving within a 54-degree angle of the rear, in any mode, will cause the taillights to remain at maximum brightness to alert the rear.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the taillight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Charging: Regularly charge the battery to maintain its health, even if not used frequently.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Water Resistance: The device is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets from any direction. However, it is not designed for submersion. Ensure the Type-C port cover is securely closed during wet conditions.

The RT01 is IPX6 waterproof, protecting it in heavy rain.
8. Troubleshooting
- Taillight not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. If the issue persists, try a different charging cable or power adapter.
- Radar not detecting vehicles: Check that the radar mode is activated. Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the radar sensor. The radar works best with a clear line of sight.
- Light modes not changing: Make sure you are pressing the button within 5 seconds of powering on or switching modes. If the device is in radar sensing mode, the light might stay at maximum brightness when detecting objects.
- Short battery life: Ensure the device is fully charged. Certain high-brightness or constant modes consume more power. Consider using radar-only mode for extended battery life.
9. User Tips
- Bicycle Computer Compatibility: The RT01 Radar Taillight is designed to link with various bicycle computers for enhanced data display and control. While it aims for broad compatibility (e.g., with Garmin, Bryton, IGP SPORT BSC300), specific features and connection methods may vary. Refer to your bicycle computer's manual for pairing instructions.
- Optimal Placement: For best radar performance, ensure the taillight is mounted vertically and unobstructed by saddlebags or other gear.
- Visibility: Always use the taillight in conjunction with appropriate front lighting for maximum safety, especially during night rides or in low-light conditions.
