1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the drum set to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • Keep the drum set away from water or other liquids.
  • Use only the provided power adapter or a compatible USB power bank.
  • Ensure all cables are securely connected before powering on the device.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the drum set. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Place the drum set on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the Stand

  1. Unpack all components and lay them out.
  2. Assemble the main metal rack according to the diagram. Ensure all joints are securely tightened.
  3. Attach the drum pads and cymbal pads to their designated positions on the rack.
  4. Place the drum throne in front of the assembled kit.

4.2 Connecting Components

  1. Connect each drum pad and cymbal pad to the drum sound module using the provided cables. Match the labels on the pads to the corresponding inputs on the module.
  2. Connect the kick pedal and hi-hat pedal to the sound module. The DED-70 uses a highly sensitive kick drum pedal designed to restore the original sound drum feel.

4.3 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the sound module and then to a power outlet.
  2. Alternatively, for portable use, connect a compatible USB Power Bank (not included) to the Type-C charging port on the sound module.

4.4 Adjusting the Stand and Throne

The DED-70 features a flexible and adjustable stand design. Adjust the height and angle of the drum pads and cymbals to suit your playing posture. The drum throne is also adjustable for comfortable seating.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the sound module to turn the drum set on. Press and hold the button to turn it off.

5.2 Sound Module Functions

The sound module is the brain of your DED-70 kit, offering a variety of sounds and learning tools:

  • Drum Kits: Select from 10 different drum kits to change your sound.
  • Sounds: Access over 68 exclusive acoustic and electronic drum kit sounds. The intelligent dynamic clarity technology provides a realistic playing experience.
  • Songs: The coaching module includes 10 play-along songs to practice with.
  • Practice Exercises: Utilize the fun practice exercises to develop and improve your drumming skills, ideal for beginners.

5.3 Using Headphones

Connect the included headphones to the headphone jack on the sound module for private practice. This allows for quiet drumming, minimizing disturbance to others.

5.4 Melodics Lessons

6. Maintenance
