5. Operation
5.1 DPI Adjustment
The mouse features 5 adjustable DPI levels (800, 1200, 2000, 3000, 4000) to suit various tasks and preferences. Use the dedicated DPI button (usually located near the scroll wheel) to cycle through the sensitivity settings. A higher DPI results in faster cursor movement.

5.2 Horizontal Scrolling
The mouse is equipped with a horizontal scroll wheel. Tilt the scroll wheel to the left or right to perform horizontal scrolling, which is useful for navigating wide documents, spreadsheets, or timelines without moving the mouse.

5.3 Ultra-Silent Clicks
The mouse is designed for quiet operation, with click sounds less than 35dB. This feature helps maintain a focused and undisturbed environment in workplaces, dorm rooms, or libraries.

5.4 Dual-Mode Scroll Wheel Feedback
The main scroll wheel offers dual-mode feedback, allowing for a one-click switch between scrolling speeds. This enables seamless adaptation to different scenarios, providing either extreme speed for quick navigation or average speed for more stable and precise paragraph accuracy.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the device.
- Storage: Store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge it when the battery indicator shows low power.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1 Mouse Not Responding
- Ensure the mouse is powered on.
- Check the battery level on the OLED display and charge if necessary.
- Verify the connection mode: If using 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is properly inserted and the mouse is in 2.4G mode. If using Bluetooth, ensure the mouse is in BT mode and successfully paired with your device.
- Try restarting your computer or device.
- If using 2.4G, try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
9.2 Connectivity Issues
- 2.4G Connection: Ensure the USB receiver is within range (approx. 10m) and there are no significant obstructions. Avoid using the receiver near other strong wireless signals that might cause interference.
- Bluetooth Connection: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Unpair and re-pair the mouse if connection is unstable. Ensure the mouse is within range.
9.3 Cursor Jumps or Inaccurate Tracking
- Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface. Highly reflective surfaces like glass may affect tracking performance. Consider using a mouse pad.
- Adjust the DPI sensitivity to a lower setting if the cursor is too erratic.
10. User Tips
- For optimal tracking performance, especially on challenging surfaces like glass, it is recommended to use a mouse pad.
- While the mouse offers customizable buttons, there is no dedicated mobile application for customization. Button functions are typically configured through your computer's operating system settings or specific software if provided by Baseus (check the official Baseus website for any available drivers or software).
