- **RF Remote Alternative:** If you do not have a Zigbee gateway, you can use a 2.4G RF remote control or wall switch (sold separately) to operate Plus/Pro Version Products. Note that 2.4G RF remotes are not Zigbee devices.
- **Wiring Safety:** Ensure all wiring is correct and secure before applying power. Avoid performing any operations while the device is live.
- **Environmental Conditions:** Use the product within its rated voltage and current specifications. Avoid using it in damp, high-temperature, high-pressure, or dusty environments.

6. Setup Instructions
6.1. Wiring the Controller
Follow the wiring diagrams below to connect your LED strip(s) and power supply to the GL-C-301P controller. The controller features quick connect ports for easier wiring.
- **Open the connector upwards.**
- **Insert the stripped wire into the port.**
- **Press down on the connector to secure the wire.**

- **RGBCCT LED Strip:** Connect V+, R, G, B, C, W terminals.
- **RGBW LED Strip:** Connect V+, R, G, B, W terminals. No connection to 'N' terminal.
- **RGB LED Strip:** Connect V+, R, G, B terminals. No connection to 'N' terminal.
- **CCT LED Strip:** Connect V+, C, W terminals. Two pieces of CCT strips can be connected. No connection to 'N' terminal.
- **Dimmer (Single Color) LED Strip:** Connect V+, W terminals. Five pieces of single color strips can be connected.
6.2. Initial Power-on and Mode Selection
- Connect the light strip, controller, and adapter, then plug in the power.
- The controller will automatically switch to the correct mode based on the connected LED strip type.
6.3. Pairing with a Zigbee Gateway (APP Control)
To enable smart APP and voice control, you need to pair the controller with a compatible Zigbee gateway (e.g., Philips Hue, SmartThings, Tuya, Homey, Amazon Echo studio).

- **Power your light sources:** Connect the light strip, controller, and adapter, then plug in the power.
- **Set up your bridge:** Plug in your Zigbee bridge/gateway and connect it to your WiFi router using the provided network cable.
- **Download the Gateway APP:** Download the corresponding gateway app (e.g., Tuya Smart, Philips Hue app) on your smartphone. Start the device searching function within the app. It may take some time. If the device is not found, try powering the controller off/on or performing a reset (see Section 7.1).
- **Complete Setup and Control:** Once detected, complete the setup in the app. You can then control the light color, color temperature, and brightness.

6.4. Pairing with 2.4G RF Remote Control
The controller can be paired directly with a 2.4G RF remote control (e.g., GL-RC-001, GL-RC-006, GL-RC-007, GL-RC-009, GL-W-003Z) without a Zigbee gateway.
- Ensure the controller is powered on.
- Refer to your specific 2.4G RF remote control's instructions for pairing. Typically, this involves a short press of a pairing button on the remote within a few seconds of powering on the controller.
7. Operating Instructions
7.1. Button Functions on the Controller

- **OPT Button:**
- **Short Press:** Switches the current device function (switching device function will automatically clear Zigbee and RF connections).
- **Long Press (5 seconds):** Enables/disables the memory function (memory function is off by default). This determines whether the controller remembers the power status before a power off.
- **RESET Button:**
- **Short Press:** Switches the frequency.
- **Long Press (5 seconds):** Resets the controller. After reset, it defaults back to RGBCCT mode.
- **PUSH Button (External):**
- **Short Press:** Power On/Off.
- **Long Press:** Adjusts brightness (Long press increases brightness, release and long press again decreases brightness).
- **Indicator Light:** Different color indicators correspond to different functions.
7.2. APP Control
Once paired with a Zigbee gateway and its corresponding app, you can control various aspects of your LED strips:
- **Color Adjustment:** Select from 16 million colors.
- **Color Temperature Regulation:** Adjust from warm white to cool white.
- **Brightness Adjustment:** Dim or brighten lights from 1% to 100%.

7.3. Voice Control
For voice control, ensure your controller is successfully paired with a compatible Zigbee gateway (e.g., Amazon Echo Plus, Google Home via Tuya/SmartThings). Use voice commands like:

7.4. RF Remote Control

7.5. Scene Memory Function
The controller supports saving and activating up to four scenes (S1, S2, S3, S4) using a compatible RF remote control.
- **To enter scene memory function:** Click on the button (S1, S2, S3, S4) of the remote control.
- **To save a scene:** Long press the desired scene button (S1-S4).
- **To activate a scene:** Short press the desired scene button (S1-S4).
7.6. Frequency Settings
The controller allows you to adjust the oscillation frequency to match different power supplies and reduce noise. Use the **RESET** button (short press) to cycle through the frequencies.

7.7. Power-on State Setting
You can configure the controller's behavior after a power outage:
- **Remember the state of on/off before power failure.**
- **Lights up by default when powered on.**
To switch between these two modes, long press the "OPT" key for more than 5 seconds. The indicator light will flash blue 3 times to confirm the change.

8. Maintenance
- **Cleaning:** Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the controller. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

- **Device not responding:**

- **Cannot connect to Zigbee gateway/APP:**
- Ensure the controller is within range of the Zigbee gateway.
- Restart the gateway and the controller.
- Initiate device search in the gateway app again.
- Perform a short press on the OPT button to switch device function, which clears existing Zigbee/RF connections, then try pairing again.
- **RF remote not working:**
- Check the remote's battery.
- Ensure the remote is paired correctly with the controller.
- Verify the remote is a 2.4G RF type compatible with GLEDOPTO Plus/Pro Version Products.
- **Lights flickering or making noise:**
- Adjust the oscillation frequency using the RESET button to find a setting that reduces noise.
