Key controls include:
- Mobile phone rack: To mount your smartphone for FPV view and app control.
- LCD display screen: Shows flight data like GPS satellites, battery level, flight mode, altitude, and distance.
- Left joystick: Controls rise/fall and turn left/right.
- Right joystick: Controls forward/backward and left/right side flying.
- GPS switch: Activates or deactivates GPS positioning.
- Long-term geomagnetic calibration: For compass calibration.
- Indicator light: Shows remote control status.
- Power switch: Turns the remote control on/off.
- One click to return: Initiates automatic return to home.
- Unlock take-off: Prepares the drone for flight.
- Roller camera adjustment: Adjusts the camera angle.
- Roller speed conversion: Changes flight speed modes.
- Press a short button to take a picture, long press to start recording: Camera control.
4.4 App Installation
Download the official LYZRC drone app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to unlock advanced features and real-time image transmission.

5. Operation
5.1 Basic Flight
After unfolding the drone and ensuring batteries are charged, place the drone on a flat, open surface. Power on the drone, then the remote control. Connect to the drone via the app. Perform a one-click take-off using the remote control. The drone utilizes GPS and Optical Flow for stable double positioning.
5.2 Intelligent Flight Modes
The L600 PRO MAX Drone offers a variety of intelligent flight modes for enhanced user experience:
- GPS Pointing Flight: Use the APP map to set accurate pointers for the drone to follow a pre-defined flight path.
- 360° Laser Obstacle Avoidance: Equipped with a 360° laser obstacle avoidor, the drone automatically detects and avoids obstacles within 20 meters, ensuring safer flight.
- Waypoint Flight: Plan a multi-point route in the app, and the aircraft will fly independently along the pre-set path, allowing you to focus on capturing footage.
- Fixed Point Surround: Select a center point, then use the joystick to define a desired radius for the drone to orbit around.
- Intelligent Follow (GPS & Image Following): The drone can intelligently track and follow a subject. It can identify the shooting object and perform automatic following flight.
- Gesture Recognition: Within 1-3 meters of the aircraft, make specific hand gestures (photo gesture or camera gesture) in front of the camera to trigger photo or video recording.
- Smart Return (GPS Positioning Return): The drone features one-click return to the takeoff point, low battery return, and no signal return, ensuring the drone safely returns home.

5.3 Camera Operation
The L600 PRO MAX is equipped with a 4K HD wide-angle camera and a 3-axis EIS electro-mechanical stabilization gimbal for smooth and clear footage. The camera angle can be adjusted by 90° via the remote controller.

The drone supports 50x sliding zoom for capturing distant details.

Real-time high-definition image transmission is available via the 5G system, allowing you to see what your drone sees on your smartphone.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Care
- Always use the original charging cable and adapter.
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If the battery swells or shows signs of damage, discontinue use immediately.
6.2 Propeller Replacement
In case of damaged propellers, replace them with the provided spare propeller blades. Use the screwdriver to carefully remove the old blades and install the new ones, ensuring they are oriented correctly.
6.3 General Cleaning
Wipe the drone and remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents. Keep the camera lens clean for optimal image quality.
7. Troubleshooting
- Drone not taking off: Ensure the battery is fully charged, propellers are correctly installed, and the drone is placed on a flat surface. Check for any error messages on the remote control or app.
- Loss of signal: Fly within the specified remote control and image transmission range (3000m and 1000m respectively, without interference). If signal is lost, the drone's smart return function should activate.
- Unstable flight: Perform geomagnetic calibration as described in the remote control overview. Ensure GPS and Optical Flow positioning are active in suitable environments.
- Poor image quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure the 3-axis gimbal is functioning correctly and not obstructed.
- Obstacle avoidance not working: Ensure the obstacle avoidor is properly installed (if optional) and not obstructed. Fly within the 20m detection range.
8. User Tips
- Practice in open spaces: Before attempting complex maneuvers or intelligent flight modes, practice basic take-off, landing, and hovering in a wide-open area.
- Monitor battery levels: Always keep an eye on both drone and remote control battery levels to prevent unexpected landings or loss of control.
- Understand flight modes: Take time to learn each intelligent flight mode (GPS Pointing, Follow, Surround) to maximize your drone's capabilities and capture unique footage.
- Check local regulations: Always be aware of and comply with local drone flying laws and regulations in your area.
- Use the app for full control: The companion app provides a richer experience with real-time FPV, flight path planning, and advanced camera controls.
