1. Introduction

The Foxwell NT650 Pro is a multi-application service tool designed to provide a cost-effective and comprehensive solution for frequently performed vehicle services and maintenance. This upgraded version of the NT650 Elite offers enhanced diagnostic capabilities, including engine checks, airbag and ABS diagnostic solutions, and over 25 special reset functions. 3. Device Overview

The NT650 Pro features a robust design with a clear display and intuitive button layout for easy navigation and operation. The device is equipped with function keys (F1, F2, F3), navigation buttons (up, down, left, right), an OK button for confirmation, and a '?' button for help or information.

4. Setup and Initial Configuration

4.1 Powering On the Device

Connect the NT650 Pro to your vehicle's OBDII port using the diagnostic cable. The device will power on automatically. Alternatively, connect it to a computer via the USB cable for power and updates.

4.2 Language Selection

The device supports multiple languages. Navigate to the 'Settings' menu on the main screen to select your preferred language. Supported languages include Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Thai.

4.3 Wi-Fi Connection and Software Update

The NT650 Pro offers lifetime free updates via Wi-Fi. To update the software:

1. From the main menu, select 'Update'.
2. The device will prompt you to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Select an available network and enter the password if required.
3. Once connected, the device will check for available updates. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest software version.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Connecting to a Vehicle

Locate the OBDII diagnostic port in your vehicle (usually under the dashboard on the driver's side). Plug the OBDII diagnostic cable into the port and then connect the other end to the NT650 Pro. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (engine off or running, depending on the test).

5.3 ABS/SRS Code Reader & Bidirectional Control Test

The NT650 Pro is capable of diagnosing and performing bidirectional tests on Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) modules.

• **ABS System Diagnosis**: Read ECU information, live data, and clear ABS system fault codes. Turn off the trouble indicator after issues are fixed.
• **SRS System Diagnosis**: Detect electronic parameters to check the health status of the airbag system. Read ECU information, live data, and clear SRS system fault codes. Turn off the trouble indicator after issues are fixed.
• **Bi-directional Active Test**: Perform active tests to command components and pinpoint faults. Examples include ABS manual control tests, ABS motor tests, and actuator tests. This allows temporary activation or control of components for more accurate problem identification.
