3. Setup Guide
The Hiseeu CCTV system is designed for easy plug-and-play installation. The cameras and NVR are pre-paired before shipping.
3.1 Initial Connection
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
- Connect NVR:
- Connect the NVR to its power supply (12V/2.5A adapter).
- Connect the NVR to your network router using the provided Ethernet cable for internet access.
- Plug the USB mouse into a USB port on the NVR.
- (Optional) Connect the NVR to an external display via HDMI if you prefer a larger screen.
- Connect Cameras: Connect each camera to its individual power supply (12V/1A adapter).
- Power On: Power on the NVR and all cameras. The system should automatically connect, and live video feeds will appear on the NVR's 10.1-inch LCD monitor.
3.2 Camera Installation
The cameras are designed for versatile placement, suitable for doorways, yards, living rooms, or orchards.
- Choose Location: Select a suitable location for each camera, ensuring it has a clear view of the area you wish to monitor and is within range of a power outlet. Consider the wireless transmission range: up to 50 meters without obstacles, 10-30 meters through one wall, and 10-15 meters through multiple walls.
- Mount Camera: Use the provided screws to securely mount the camera to a wall or other stable surface.
- Adjust Angle: The camera bracket allows for flexible adjustment. You can rotate the camera 180 degrees horizontally and 360 degrees vertically to achieve the desired viewing angle.

The system features AI Humanoid Detection technology to minimize false alarms. When a human shape is detected, the system can trigger various alerts:
- Buzzer Alarm: An audible alarm from the NVR.
- Email Alert: Notification sent to your registered email address.
- App Push: Instant push notification to your mobile device via the EseeCloud app.
4.3 Video Recording & Playback
The NVR supports H.265+ video compression, which significantly saves HDD storage space while maintaining high image quality and faster loading speeds compared to H.264.
- Recording: The system continuously records video to the installed hard drive (if present). Motion-triggered recording can also be configured.
- Playback: Access recorded footage directly from the NVR or remotely via the EseeCloud app.

Each IP camera includes a built-in microphone for audio recording, allowing you to capture sound along with video footage.
