Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the display or casing.
  • Waterproof Rating: The device is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it can withstand powerful water jets. However, it is not designed for submersion.
  • Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or unresponsive, replace the CR2032 battery. Refer to the "Setup and Installation" section for battery compartment access.
  • Storage: Store the water flow meter in a dry, cool place when not in use, especially during freezing temperatures, to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

  • No Display/Dim Display:
    • Check the CR2032 battery. Replace if necessary.
    • Ensure the device is not in standby mode (activate by pressing the button).
  • Inaccurate Readings:
    • Ensure water flows fully through the digital flowmeter. Partial flow can lead to inaccuracies.
    • Verify the water flow direction icon aligns with the actual flow.
    • Reset the measurement by holding the button for 2 seconds.
  • Water Leakage:
    • Ensure all quick connectors are firmly tightened and locked.
    • Check the rubber rings within the quick connectors for proper seating and damage.
