4. Setup Guide

4.2 Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply options:

  • Adapter Power (Recommended): Connect the 5V 1A power adapter to the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet. This is the primary power source.
  • Battery Power (Backup): For backup power during outages or for portable use, insert 3 D-sized alkaline batteries into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity. The feeder will automatically switch to battery power if the adapter power is interrupted.

4.3 Loading Food

  1. Open the top lid of the feeder.
  2. Pour dry pet food (kibble size 5-15mm) into the food hopper. Do not overfill.
  3. Close the lid securely to maintain food freshness. The lid features a sealed design and a desiccant box to prevent moisture and insects.

5. Operating Instructions

The feeder features an intuitive control panel with an LCD display for easy programming.

5.1 Setting Current Time

Refer to the LCD display and control buttons to set the current time. This ensures that scheduled meals are dispensed accurately.

5.2 Programming Feeding Schedules

  1. Access the feeding schedule settings via the control panel.
  2. Set the desired number of meals per day (1 to 4 meals).
  3. For each meal, specify the time and the number of portions (1 to 10 portions). Each portion is approximately 8-10g.
  4. Confirm your settings.

5.3 Voice Recording

  1. Locate the record button on the control panel.
  2. Press and hold the record button to begin recording your voice (up to 10 seconds).
  3. Release the button to save the recording. This message will play automatically during scheduled meal times to call your pet.

5.4 Manual Feeding

To dispense food manually, press the manual feed button on the control panel. This will dispense one portion of food immediately.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Feeder

  4. Wipe the main body of the feeder with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main body in water.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly to prevent mold or bacterial growth.

6.2 Desiccant Bag Replacement

  • Food jamming frequently:
    • Ensure the kibble size is within the recommended 5-15mm range.

  • Feeder not turning on:
    • Confirm the power adapter is securely plugged into both the feeder and the wall outlet.
