Product Overview
The MEKEDE Motorcycle Smart Carplay Video Recorder features a 6.25-inch full touch screen display, designed for clear visibility and easy interaction. The device also includes a remote control with three physical buttons for safe operation while driving:
- Cycle button: Short press to enter the rear view interface or return to the previous interface. Long press for 10 seconds to power off. In Carplay mode, short press to answer the phone.
- Camera button: Short press for one-click capture (photo). Long press for 3 seconds to lock the video. In Carplay mode, short press to hang up the phone.
- Main interface button: Short press to enter the main interface or mobile phone interconnection interface. Long press for 5 seconds to close/open touch function.
Setup
1. Mounting the Device
Securely attach the main unit to your motorcycle's handlebar or dashboard using the provided mounting bracket. Ensure the device is positioned for optimal visibility without obstructing your view of the road or controls. The device dimensions are approximately 164mm (length) x 83mm (width) x 35mm (thickness).
2. Wiring Connections
Connect the power cable to your motorcycle's power supply. Ensure proper polarity. Connect the front and rear cameras to their respective ports on the main unit. If your model includes TPMS sensors, install them on your tires according to their specific instructions.
3. Inserting the TF Card
Locate the TF card slot on the device. Gently insert a compatible TF card (not included) into the slot until it clicks into place. The device will display "The TF card is loading" upon successful insertion.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Power On: The device will automatically power on when the motorcycle ignition is turned on.
- Power Off: Long press the 'Cycle button' on the remote control for 10 seconds to power off the device.
2. Touch Screen and Button Functions
The device features a full touch screen for intuitive control. You can also use the physical remote control buttons for key functions while driving.

3. Wireless Carplay & Android Auto
When the device is powered on, it will automatically try to connect to the last connected phone. To connect a new phone:
- Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone/Android phone.
- On the device, navigate to the Carplay or Android Auto section.
- Select the device name (e.g., MT02-4B99) from your phone's Bluetooth settings to pair.
- Confirm any pairing requests on both devices.
Once connected, you can use your phone's features like music, phone calls, maps, and more directly on the device's screen.
4. Dual Bluetooth Channels
The device supports dual Bluetooth channels, allowing you to connect to a Bluetooth headset, helmet, or other Bluetooth audio device for music, phone calls, and navigation audio, while simultaneously maintaining a connection to your phone for Carplay/Android Auto.
5. Dual Camera Recording
The device supports dual 1080P ultra HD cameras for front and rear recording, offering starry night vision and full color at night. It features seamless loop recording, automatically overwriting older footage when the TF card is full. You can also capture photos with a single click.
6. Viewing Camera Images and Recordings
You can view camera images and recordings in real-time on the device screen. Additionally, you can connect your phone to the device via Wi-Fi to view and download camera images and recordings using a dedicated mobile application (e.g., 'Vidure').
7. GPS Navigation
The device has a built-in GPS antenna and supports various navigation applications such as Google Maps, Waze, and TomTom Go when connected via Carplay or Android Auto.
