Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your GEARELEC C2 headset into your helmet:

    • Hard Microphone: Recommended for open-face or modular helmets. Attach it to the inside of the helmet near your mouth using Velcro.
    • Soft Microphone: Recommended for full-face helmets. Attach it to the inside of the chin bar using Velcro.
    • Connect the microphone cable to the main unit.
  5. Cable Management: Ensure all cables are tucked away and do not obstruct your vision or helmet functionality.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing (with Smartphone)

  1. Ensure the C2 unit is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for about 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly (usually blue/red alternating), indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for "GEARELEC C2".
  4. Select "GEARELEC C2" to connect. Once paired, the indicator light will change to a slow blue flash.

Intercom Pairing (2-Rider Communication)

The C2 supports communication between two units within a 50-meter range.
