9. Troubleshooting
9.1. Common Issues and Solutions
- Q: Why is the blood pressure value deviated from a sphygmomanometer?
- A: The watch measures blood pressure from the arteriole branches, while a sphygmomanometer measures from the radial artery. These different measurement sites, along with factors like temporary blood flow restriction during sphygmomanometer use, can cause a deviation of 30-40 units. The watch's measurements are for reference only and not for medical diagnosis.
- Q: Why can't the watch receive message pushes?
- A:
For Android phones:
- Confirm that the message push switch is enabled in the GloryFit app.
- Ensure messages are displayed normally in your phone's notification bar, as the watch reads notifications from there. (Check phone settings to enable notifications for WeChat, QQ, phone calls, SMS, etc.)
- Open the auxiliary function settings for the GloryFit app in your phone's settings.
For Apple phones:
- Confirm that the message push switch is enabled in the GloryFit app.
- Ensure messages are displayed normally in your phone's notification bar. (Go to phone settings, then notification settings, and enable notifications for WeChat, QQ, phone calls, SMS, etc.)
- Q: Why does the pedometer not count steps when I have already started walking?
- A: To reduce errors, the smartwatch typically sets an initial threshold of 10 steps. It will start counting and displaying steps once you have walked more than 10 steps. The app will then show the real walking steps, starting from step 10.
- Q: Why can't the device boot or start up properly?
- A: Please charge your new device for at least 10 minutes or more before the first usage. This ensures normal device boot and optimal operation. If the battery is removable (not applicable to this model), ensure it is properly installed before charging.
- Q: Cannot find device when pairing?
- A: Please ensure the distance between your phone and the device is less than 0.5m. Also, ensure the device is not under low battery. If the problem persists after 1.5 hours of charging, please contact support.
- Q: Cannot connect device to application?
- A: Some smartphone Bluetooth services can become abnormal after a reboot. Please reboot your smartphone and try pairing the device again.
- Q: Why does the Android mobile disconnect?
- A: Android mobile phone system memory management may force background apps to close. You need to turn off power-saving mode or add the GloryFit app to the system's "green background" or "whitelist" to prevent it from being forced closed. The app must be running in the background for Bluetooth to remain connected automatically.
- Q: Why couldn’t I connect the Bluetooth?
- A:
- Download the GloryFit app first.
- Search for the watch's Bluetooth name within the app and connect it.
- You should see a request to connect on your phone; click "pair."
- If you have connected the Bluetooth before, please clear all previously paired Bluetooth devices from your phone's settings and try again.
10. User Tips
- Always charge your watch fully upon receiving it to ensure proper initial startup.
- Scan the QR code in the manual to download the official "GloryFit" app for the best experience.
- If you experience Bluetooth connectivity issues, try rebooting your smartphone.
- For Android users, ensure the "GloryFit" app is excluded from power-saving optimizations to maintain a stable background connection.
- The strap is interchangeable; consider different colors or materials to match your style.
