5. Setup Instructions
5.1 Mounting the Bluetooth Unit
- Identify a suitable location on the side of your helmet for the Bluetooth unit.
- Attach the mounting clip or adhesive pad (included in the accessory kit) to the helmet. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.
- Press the Bluetooth unit firmly onto the mounted clip or adhesive pad until it is fixed securely in place.
- Connect the headset speakers and microphone to the appropriate ports on the Bluetooth unit.
- Route the speaker and microphone wires neatly inside the helmet, ensuring they do not interfere with helmet padding or your comfort. Position the speakers inside the ear pockets and the microphone near your mouth.
5.2 Bluetooth Pairing with Your Phone
- Ensure the GEARELEC DK02 headset is powered off.
- Press and hold the Power/Play button (usually the main central button) until the indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone, go to Bluetooth settings and turn on Bluetooth.
- Search for available devices and select "DK02" from the list.
- Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will change, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

6. Operating Instructions
Refer to Figure 4.1 for button locations.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power/Play button.
- Play/Pause Music: Short press the Power/Play button.
- Volume Up: Short press the '+' button.
- Volume Down: Short press the '-' button.
- Next Song: Long press the '+' button.
- Previous Song: Long press the '-' button.
- Answer Call: Short press the Phone button.
- Reject Call: Long press the Phone button for 3 seconds.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Double-tap the '-' (volume down) button.
- Ambient Light Adjustment: Short press the Ambient Light Color Adjustment button to cycle through colors/modes.
